I decided to see what DTLA was looking like...lots of construction! It concerns me about the widening gap between the wealthy and poor as the wealthy take this opportunity to keep building things that will bring them more wealth, while others suffer. I came across this protest of Jackie Lacy, LA's DA who is criticized for not prosecuting cases of police violence and burtility. I learned about #anthonyvargas I asked to take a picture and was graciously allowed to do so. So many sheriff's were standing around idly in the 1-2 block radius surrounding this small protest. Anthony's life was taken 2 years ago when he was shot from BEHIND 13 times by two LA sheriff's deputies! You can learn more @justiceforanthonyvargas We have much work to do. Maybe you can help?
