I can't say much about movies themselves cause you know, they aren't out yet BUT

For Dave: he enjoys them a ton. I mean, the guy hasn't been to a theatre in 30 years! He also totally thinks this is a date lol. you can catch him wearing a pink sparkly bowtie afterwards

Jack: aside from catching zZs... well, it's nice to not think about Freddy's for a while

Hi!! I hope you're doing well. I don't know if you're still writing for kny but regardless of that i want you to know that i love your jackrabbit au. Just the fic i need <3 I love how you write their narration and how in character the characters are to me. Also, disability rep Giyuu!! How refreshing :D I rarely see disability/chronic illness hc in kny, which is quite unfortunate. That’s why seeing the jackrabbit au excite me so much. The Kamado siblings are very adorable and Giyuu interaction with them cause me to smile multiple times. They're very dear to me. I adore your writing so much <3!!! Thank you so much for writing such a splendid fic!

i think the lack of disability rep (despite there being canon disabled characters) is due both to the context of the kny world & how it handles its canonically disabled characters.

this is not to say that the author is, like, a horrible person, but there's obvious faults in how they handle characters like gyomei and obanai, for example. gyomei is blind but it's ok ! he can just Hear Well ! obanai is half blind but it's ok ! service snake ! and i understand how those stereotypes can come about Especially within the social context of japan, so i am not incredibly surprised. kny IS a media that has many flaws, and though it is unfortunate, it is also important to both acknowledge them and also acknowledge that it is okay to still enjoy it. lol.

on the side of the world's context, it places major emphasis on being able-bodied, or at least able to pass as able-bodied. kny also has a fanbase that is incredibly strange when it comes to representation of any sort, despite its media being queer when you break it down to its fundamental basic concepts, so there's a major pushback when it comes to rep.

i on the other hand do not give a shit at all whatsoever i do what i want forever and that is how it always will be. there's more hcs beyond just giyuu but i'll only divulge that if i'm asked to LOL
