Dev Diary #3 - Some Concepts, if you Will!
Hello, all! It has been quite awhile, hasn't it? Why, this blog is starting to form a thin layer of dust on it. We do apologize immensely, but Jack and I have been very busy trying to wrap up our work in The Legend of Doodle, so that combined with outside world factors has put a damper in progress. In the meantime, just to prove we haven't completely fallen off the face of the Earth, I wanted to provide a few bits of concept work for some of the characters. I have a bit more lined up to show off in the future as my emergency "oh god what do I blog about" button.
Please do excuse my gross camera quality, but hopefully these pictures are clear enough for you to see! This is Unicorn, Chito, and Femare respectively! As you can see, the art style of Unicorn shifted a little bit from my initial design; given I want to make these characters have tons of expressions and poses, I have found it best to simplify the design and keep the important details intact. Once I have completed a colored picture of all these characters, I will go into more detail about each one of them!
