Today on "enshittification you might not even notice": AI generative fills turned on by default in phone cameras adding nonexistant details to low-resolution photos, resulting in situations like this reddit user struggling to ID a bird because the phone added random markings.

If you are a birder, nature enthusiast, or basically anyone who desires image integrity for identifying things (... or just having integrity), definitely check your phone's camera settings for any "enhancement" filters and turn them off.

Based off what I've found this is a Pixel 10 feature. I'm unsure if any other androids have similar issues or enhancements.

But and also, reading the Reddit post it might not have been ai noise and was just a lousy picture.
