Whelp I official have done it. I did a redesign of Jack; much like Winter Prince, Jokul, King Frost, or even Ice Elf jack. (who all belong to their respective owners in the same order, the-guardian-of-fun, Pooka-curse, Ionahi, Jackson Frosty)

So now we can add to the list Morozko, which literally is Jack Frost in Russian.

Most of the clothing was inspired by Young North from the Books, and then the rest was sort of bits and pieces from different photos. One thing I did know was that I wanted fur on this. So the fur on the coat is Russian blue Fox. Also gave him carpenter gloves because those things are so useful!

I probably won't do much with this design besides draw it, because wellllllll reasons I guess.

Also a small little shout out to these amazing artists for being huge inspiration to me, and this drawing also. I enjoy your work and it pushes to keep going. So thank you for all your hard work.

I've been wanting to draw all three of these guys, and I've been working on them on and off for like a month. I decided to kick my but in gear and finish them since Pooka's birthday is tomorrow.

New Style

So I became enamored with jacksonfrosty's Ice Elf version of Jack and asked if I could write about him. First ficlet that popped into mind was Tooth helping Jack with his new hairstyle.

A frustrated sigh escaped Jack's lips as he glared at the offending object on the floor. Faint flickers of light streamed in through the window, glinting off a pair of scissors nearly hidden away amid a pile of snowy white hair. Jack was used to cutting his hair; it should've been a piece of cake after more than 300 some years of practice. This was getting to be ridiculous though. He'd lost track of how many times he'd had to cut his hair ever since taking the Guardian's Oath. At first Jack had been able to keep up with trimming his hair. Then the busy season of winter came around again and his hair had gotten away from him.  At least none of the others had been around when he had been spreading frost one evening only to get tangled up in some tree branches. If anyone, especially Bunny, had seen him he’d never live it down for the rest of his immortal existence.

So here he sat, hiding from the rest of the Guardian’s. A scowl plastered to his face while he glared at the scissors as if they were the sole reason for his current state of discontent. Frost crept across the floor of the room, fern like patterns painted the wall as Jack's thoughts tumbled through events of the past year. Some were happy, the happiest moments of his short immortal existence, and other not so happy memories. A knock at the door startled Jack out of his gloomy thoughts, the frost patterns tapering off halfway up the wall.

"Jack... Are you okay in there?"

"Yeah Tooth... I'm fine." Jack tried to put as much enthusiasm into his voice as he could. Although at this point in time even he wouldn't have believed his reply own reply. A short silence greeted him before the door opened just a bit.

"You might want to work on being more convincing there Jack. Can I come in?" Jack could hear the subtle under current of worry in Tooth's voice even as she tried to keep it sounding upbeat and cheerful. A soft smile feel upon his lips, a warm feeling blossomed in Jack's chest.  It was silly, but it felt nice to actually know there was someone who worried about him. Not that Jack wanted to worry Tooth. Apprehension and a touch of fear shot along his veins as Jack watched the door open and Tooth fluttered in.

((and here is where my muse kicked me to the curb... meh... :( I am determined to finish this though.))
