Who goes in to a mosh pit if they know it will make them cry?
Hey friend, can I share some cool meta-theories? I want some more of the fandom to hear it and you're basically the queen, so, yeah. Alright, so, the monks are based off the Chinese elements, right? Water, Fire, Earth, Wood, all of them are Chinese elements besides Wind. But they're missing one element in the spectrum: Metal. Who do we know that's had a good streak and is an expert at machinary? Jack. Jack is the Dragon of Metal. He just doesn't know it.
hahahaha I’m too lame to be the queen
I know, right? I think this has been discussed in the fandom before but wind is not part of the Chinese elements.
Maybe that’s why Rai’s position as the xiaolin monk is unstable—he’s not part of the balance. Maybe before any of them met each other, Rai and Jack’s fate accidentally switched. Maybe Jack is so uncertain about his position as Heylin or Xiaolin because he lost his part to Rai, and thus losing his inner Ying-Yang balance.
but I think Hui was going for the four classical elements
Which is kinda strange since the show mainly discusses Chinese philosophies.
Idk why Hui casted off Jack when metal is pretty much the element he’s most comfortable with, and metal is one of the important main Chinese elements.
Maybe that’s why Jack gets involved with the monks, and maybe that’s why he’s more victorious when he’s with the monks or helping the monks. He was meant to be one of them.
Maybe Jack had the potential to become Xiaolin, but since he was cast off, he became the twisted version of what he could have been, or should have been.

Well, that might be too awesome for tumblr to handle.
