Jack got back to his feet and surveyed the aftermath of the battle. He sighed disappointingly. “Fuckin’ hell….and I was gonna come back here for a nice long relaxing nap.” Jack groaned under his breath. He then pulled his huge Artillery Blade Raiden weapon out of the ground and deposited into a dimensional pocket for storage. He dusted himself off and looked back at Cana in time to grab the card containing their captured target. He glanced at it momentarily with his mismatched eyes before tucking it into his pants’ pocket. “You can drink all you want and as much as you want WHEN we get back. But for now, we gotta do something about those wounds of yours.” the ex-mercenary said as he approached the Card Mage to examine her wounds.
Cana let out a soft giggle as she laid back on the floor, looking up at the bright midday sun that was shining down on her. She let out a long sigh, letting Jack look at her wounds without worrying too much about them. In her adrenaline fuelled state she didn’t even feel the pain, the dizziness she was feeling was just a slight inconvenience. “When I get home I’m gonna challenge Natsu to a fight and then I’m gonna make him buy me a steak. A real big steak and I’m gonna eat it with my hands because fuck being lady like I’m strong.. I’m.. I completed an S-Class quest ha! Take that Gildarts.” She knew she was rambling and wasn’t completely aware of what it was she was saying as she raised her uninjured hand, twisting it in the air as if she were dancing, letting out another giggle. “Jack take me home so I can eat a big steak.”
