✤ ➣ Khoa had heard from the trees the news; a new Guardian that was chosen by the Man in the Moon. It had been a long time since a Guardian had been chosen, and Khoa was both excited and nervous too meet this new Guardian. Excited, because he could possibly make a new friend. Nervous, because he could possibly make a new enemy. Though, he never considered the others enemies, but they considered him an enemy...

Khoa sat in a tree near Burgess Lake. The trees here told him that the new Guardian visited this place a lot, and he wanted too not miss any chance too meet him. Chain rattling against the tree branch in the wind, Khoa crouched and waited, wondering what this new Guardian was like.

Cold. It was cold again. Why were places up north so... cold? The Enterran shivered a bit, rubbing his arms as he sat under a tree, atop his hoverdisc of course--the ground was much too cold, and covered in snow. This seemed like as good a place as any to stop and rest. He knew there was a town nearby, but he wasn't sure there would be anywhere he could stay. Some places let you hang out indoors without buying anything, other places didn't. He was kind of tired, and definitely cold, but he wasn't sure if he had the energy to ask right now. So, for just a few minutes, he'd sit here and rest. This pond was pretty nice and quiet, though no doubt it was freezing cold too, better not fall in... He turned his head. The lake was quiet, but someone nearby wasn't, and the sound of children laughing and playing filled the air. Children and... huh? One of those voices didn't exactly sound like a kid's, more like someone his or Sago's age. But whatever was happening, it sounded pretty fun. Huh. Maybe he should check it out.

am I the only one who basically excitedly fangirls over their best friends when I see them online or when they answer things or just acknowledge your existence and also exist in your life

and also constantly worries if I'm allowed to call them my best friends anywhere other than internally because they might not consider me that close or anything

Wendy looked at the boy nearby. She had never seen him before. "Hello." She greeted coming out and letting herself be seen. "Are you one of the new lost boys?" She asked curiously. He did seem a bit old to be one, but he wasn't technically an adult yet in her eyes.
