2. Frustratingly attempting to read.

It was VERY hard, sometimes, to be a responsible caretaker, when there was a new book calling his name. The Archivist had come across Catherine Crowe's THE NIGHT-SIDE OF NATURE and was itching to read it.

But first there had been window frames to repair, and flowerbeds to weed, and rosebushes to trim back, and wild grapes to pick, and a plethora of other summer tasks.

Now there was a storm coming, and the horses had sensed it, turning skittish and making it more difficult to herd them into the stables. Finally, though, Pitch had settled them and had taken one last circuit of the Crean Deorcha property for the night before the rain came down.

Now he was seated in the study of the Little House, three pages into his reading, when he sensed rather than heard someone on the porch.

You're sort of right. Klaus' design is by James Baxter, who did concept art for North in GoC. Which is now being used in Klaus o3o seriously though, I watched it with my mom yesterday and it's such a good movie

Halloween AU question: is there anything that Tony feels is an absolute dealbreaker? Like, he's not being dramatic, if Steve and Bucky do this thing against his wishes, he will leave and never come back?

Tony has just the one: They need to be upfront about anything blood related.

Luckily Steve and Bucky are good dudes and would never do anything without Tony’s consent, but Tony remembers people forcing blood on him, or sneaking blood into his food, so he’d be stronger/faster, because it would benefit them.

Steve and Bucky know, if they press too hard, that Tony would have no problem cutting them out of his life. (He would hurt, of course, ache in his chest for years, perhaps, but he would do it.) They don’t insist Tony eat more blood, are very careful with their complaints about how easily he bruises and how gaunt he looks sometimes. They might mutter to themselves about how they wish Tony would eat more of what he needs, but they’d never try to put pressure on Tony. Tony would put up with it for a little while, but then he’d just get pissed that they didn’t trust him to know how much he needed to eat much like Steve had when Tony tried to insist that he knew more about Steve’s body than he did.

Tony will forgive almost any misunderstanding they have, but he would never be able to forgive them for forcing blood on him.

9. V; Modern Vampire (Minor - Modern)

Jade was showing off another scarf, the fifth one this month. It was gorgeous of course, they all were, especially on Jade. Despite being sheltered, she was fairly good with fashion sense.

What was unusual about the scarf, was the fact it was the middle of summer, and one of the hottest yet. She looked faint even as she smiled and spun eagerly, more than once a servant catching her as she nearly fell over.
