No actually Ted you very much SHOULD keep calling him Dr. Jacob. Remind that unethical motherfucker of the exact nature of his previous relationship to you and your ex-wife.

THE NEW BOYFRIEND IS THE THERAPIST???
AS IN THE RELATIONSHIP THERAPIST WHO TED EXPLICITLY MENTIONED WAS MICHELLE’S PERSONAL THERAPIST FIRST???
THAT THERAPIST???
HEY ASSHOLE IT’S FUCKING ILLEGAL TO SLEEP WITH YOUR CLIENTS
I was just made aware they changed what Dr. Jacob's texts to Ted say in episode 3x4, after the episode was released.

What else have they changed? How can I trust??

Ted Lasso is an amazing show, my only problem was Dr. Jacob Bryanson |<Ted’s and his ex wife couple therapist>| dating Michelle Keller, the show brought up it was unethical but that isn’t enough for me, one can’t help but to think if Jacob could have been sabotaging the relationship a bit. So he could put the moves on Michelle. I just think it’s so icky of him to be dating one of his patient’s. I don’t care how much time has passed. It’s unprofessional, weird and I hate it.
Tbh I actually am a bit worried they're not going to properly address the Dr. Jacob-dating-his-client/former client thing. The fact that Sassy called it "borderline unethical" makes me feel like that might be the extent of the condemnation the writers give it, which would be...particularly not great considering the line came from a character who's a psychologist. Hopefully I'm wrong though - almost everything in this show is given such careful attention I'd like to think this won't be any different.
