bring my family back together
Personally believing that Jamie got Dani to teach him Spanish before Jamie transferred to a Spanish team. When he arrives, Jamie speaks Mexican Spanish with a mancunian accent, and absolutely no one can understand him.
I know we’ve discussed this ad nauseam but I do think Jamie forgiving his dad and even him reaching out and trying to build a relationship with the man is “in character.” It’s just that the chance of that working out for him long term is wildly up in the air, and the show both did not emphasis that point nor did it have an adequate amount of time remaining to give that storyline the nuance and depth it demands, so the decision to throw in him and his dad smiling and laughing together in the finale came across as careless and rushed. And the “well they’re only showing them initially reconnecting, whether it works out longterm is still technically left up to us to decide so what’s the big deal?” argument doesn’t work for me either because it was so clearly the writers trying to tie a nice little bow on things they didn’t have real time or desire to deal with so as to wrap up storylines happily, which is so reductive to the seriousness of the subject matter. Not to mention that the way they presented Ted’s advice (which, in itself the advice, too, is “in character”, but that doesn’t mean I have to like that it was included) was harmful messaging. It’s not that Jamie Wouldn’t Do That or that Ted Wouldn’t Say That it’s that I don’t think the Show Should Have Done It if they weren’t going to give it the proper amount of focus and consideration.

So many good Roy/Alice parallels but it’s so interesting how Roy changed his mind about Ted when he realized he was competent and Alice changed her mind about Ted when she realized he knew she was competent.
It’s been a hot minute since I drew anything so uh have a Loki sketch, he is still my Favourite Sad Man
The Good Place is an excellent show for many reasons, but one that doesn't really get talked about enough, probably because of how the season 1 twist obscures it, is that the 'No Exit'-esque "Hell is Other People" scenario for an afterlife of eternal torture is an avante garde experiment from an Auteur demon who's trying to convince the other demons of his Vision while they're like "idk man flaying genitals works really good"
my rooster doesn’t crow when the sun rises, he crows when he hears humans wake up, like you can literally just roll over in bed and he’s like “hoLY SHIT THAT’S A PEOPLE THE HUMAN ISAWAKE AHHH AHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
the same rooster - god guys he’s so cute - he always lets hens eat treats first and won’t have any treats until they’ve had as much as they want, unless it’s a blueberry. shit, blueberries are like serious fucking business for Pharaoh. he’s a gentleman until the damn blueberries come out and then he don’t play no fuckin games
in case you were wondering this is him
the human mind is prone to catastrophizing when left unoccupied. And that’s why it’s important to always have a little Blorbo to rotate in your head. It acts as a protective charm of sorts to redirect your imagination away from harmful spirals
thoughts without Blorbo: oh my god I was so cringe in seventh grade why did I do that
thoughts with Blorbo: I haven’t considered the interactions with bleebus; I must rectify this immediately
