When the Fu Music bros. Jacob and Josh Fu told me that they were moving out to L.A. I was stoked!
These are genuinely nice dudes that I became I fan of once I saw their youtube video on Internet Icon: http://youtu.be/KUYXE8YxFAM
I met them at the Internet Icon finale and we were able to stay in touch.
So I had an idea to collab with them for a while - What would it be like if you had your own soundtrack to your life? So I wrote the sketch and thankfully the Fu were gracious enough to collab with me. However - it ended up turning into a totally different sketch altogether.
Now it became a story of a guy trying to pick up a cute neighbor with his "True Friends" (the Fu) telling her the truth. HAHA
So it ended up being different - but it was a great experience nonetheless.
Kyle Hatch - another contestant on the first season of Internet Icon was also a mutual friend so he was able to DP and edit this video.
Thank God he did because it looks a heck of a lot better than any of my previous videos.
Big thank you also goes out to the lovely actress: Amy Okuda (The Guild). Who plays the part of the cute neighbor.
