laying on jacob’s bed, he had actually been able to sneak gabe in past will and be able to cuddle with him.
he had his arm wrapped tightly around gabe’s waist, head in his neck, nodding along to whatever gabe said.
jacob slid his hand under gabe’s shirt, his cold hands rubbing against gabe’s soft skin. “can you actually listen?” gabe teased, patting jacob’s hand.
“i am! i just wanna be near you.” jacob defended. gabe turned over. “if you get any closer i will be on top of you!” gabe gave him a gentle push.
“i wouldn’t complain.” jacob smirked. gabe rolled his eyes, laying his head down on jacob’s chest. jacob moved his arm to lay around gabe’s waist.
next thing they knew, will was barging into the room, he didn’t really care. he was just hanging out with ryan, and ryan had just dropped the biggest secret in wills opinion.
“do you know how to knock?” jacob asked, sitting up. “do you know how to tell me you’ve been dating my best friend for almost a year?” will shot back.
“will.” jacob groaned. “no. i thought you told me everything, jacob. and you didn’t tell me the biggest thing going on in your life? it’s like our relationship means nothing to you anymore.”’will told him.
jacob stared at him. “you seriously can’t believe anything you’re saying right now, will. you know how much i cherish our relationship, having a good relationship with your siblings is what having siblings is about, you can’t believe i just started dating gabe just because i hate you.”
“that’s not what i said!” will yelled. “no it is, you implied it, william. you have no idea how much it hurt me to not tell you, but i respect the boundaries me and gabe set for our relationship. this is exactly why we didn’t tell you. because this is how you’d react.” jacob told him.
will bit his lip. “will, you know i love you, you’ve always been my favorite person. sometimes, i just need to love other people. me and gabe have been together for 7 months, and there was never a time to tell you. either the anxiety or you weren’t home. i would’ve told you if i could, but it’s not just my decision. a relationship have two people, not one. and one can’t just make the decisions for both of them. i have to respect gabe’s decision to not tell you as well. and you need to respect that.” jacob explained.
“i do! you’re my best friend, jacob. and you keeping me in three dark locked up in the basement hurts me.” will sighed. “i know, will. but it’s not only my decision.” jacob shook his head.
“i know.” will huffed. “i love you will, i really do.” jacob nodded. “i love you too.” will nodded back. jacob stood up and gave will a hug. will hugged back.
they hugged for about a minute, before will left, he did feel bad. he hurt his brother and best friend.
jacob walked back to gabe. “that went better than i thought, not gonna lie.” jacob kissed gabe on the cheek.
gabe gave a small laugh, pulling jacob to lay down with him.
