First of all I wanted to thank @silverd64 for like, existing and sharing their beautiful OCs, it was what kind of reminded me that I had OC ideas myself that I was only kicking around, so please go check out their amazing OCs that got my inspiration kicking! They’re great characters if you haven’t seen them yet!!
Secondly I apologize if these colors are absolutely eye-bleeding. I tried to desaturate the original ones from the game but this is about the best I could do and it... really isn’t much better.
But this is Jacques, my own FF OC who might be making more appearances on this blog!
Jacques was revived from a Ptera fossil that had sustained serious damage in the cleaning process, leaving him without one of his wings entirely. Without the ability to fly, making him unable to be used for both fighting and transportation purposes, he was turned over to a vivosaur rehabber who specializes in working with vivosaurs from heavily damaged fossil revivals. Thanks to his energetic and hardy nature, his current handler is using him as an ambassador vivosaur to be the face of their rehabbing program. He’s currently being trained to mimic parrot-like behaviors in repeating human speech as a test to see if trainable behavior from modern avians can be seen in vivosaurs. This training has been largely unsuccessful but he seems to be grasping how to make the right noises to repeat “hello”.
He’s not renowned for being particularly bright, with the intelligence of a common housecat easily distracted by shiny, jingling or feathered things, though this incredibly docile nature is likely caused by him never setting foot in a stadium for a fossil battle before.
The sash tied to his crest is used as reins for his handler to help keep his center of balance, and to hold on to when his prosthetic wing arrives to be tested.
So yeah, here’s my big avian moron—apologies if the description wasn’t the best or went too long! Really, Jacques is the defintion of a domestic parrot with the brains and docile behavior to match. He even screams.

Wilson sputters and looks at House, at the tv, and then back at House. “Going to wear a dress to what?”
“Our wedding, of course,” he says.
“You haven’t—”
“Oh.” He raises a brow and tilts his head, opening his hand as if there’s a ring box in his palm. “James Evan Wilson, will you marry me?”
