I’ve been giggling and laughing like a maniac thinking of this—can you do floyd leech and jade leech (together because I LOVE THEM SOOO MUCH) x f!reader who’s really warm even in winter? She’s like a walking heater or something like that. Thanks btw, i hope my request wouldn’t tire you out! And no need to rush, take your time! Have a wonderful day/night <3
warm in the winter with the leech twins.
You should know by now that you’re like a certain magnet to a certain set of twins.
“Whatcha doin’ out here, huh? Don’tcha know it’s freezing?” Floyd asked with his familiar toothy grin, appearing from behind you like a predator to its unknowing prey.
“It’s not that cold.”
Behind Floyd, Jade was walking at a calmer pace, his gloved hands tucked neatly into his coat pockets. “It is, in fact, that cold,” he said, his voice even and calm but his brow faintly furrowed. “My, you’re underdressed.”
“I’m fine.” You stopped near one of the courtyard benches, brushing snow off of it so you could sit. Your breath didn’t even mist in the air like the twins’, which was strange enough to catch both their attention.
Floyd leaned down, crouching in front of you, his grin widening, his mitten-proofed hands toying with your bare ones. “Ooooh, I get it. You’re like a little walking heater, huh? That’s why ya don’t get cold.”
You blinked at him.
“A what?”
“Like a space heater!” Floyd laughed, then reached out to poke your cheek with a gloved finger. “You’re warm, even when it’s freezin’! No fair! I wanna sit on ya!”
“Sit on her?” Jade’s voice was calm but mildly admonishing, though his lips twitched as if he wanted to smile.
“Yeeeah.”
Floyd grinned over his shoulder at his twin, nodding as if he had just made the greatest conclusion of all time. “Like, if Moony’s warm, then we should hog all that heat for ourselves! Jade, c’mon, you get on the other side. Let’s sandwich her!”
“Floyd,” Jade said smoothly, stepping closer and crouching to your level. His eyes scanned your outfit critically, noting the lack of proper layers. “She should be encouraged to dress properly before we begin using her as a portable heating device.”
“I told you, I’m not cold.” Your tone was patient, but your smile grew a little as Floyd immediately flopped onto the bench beside you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders with zero hesitation, and tugging at you to lean most of your weight on him.
“Mmhm. Not cold,” Floyd mimicked, snuggling into your side and sighing dramatically. “Mmm, you’re so warm, though. This is nice~. We should keep her forever.”
“You sound like you’re talking about a pet,” Jade said mildly, though he was already moving to sit on your other side.
“Moony doesn’t mind, right?” Floyd tilted his head toward you.
“You two are ridiculous.” You sighed fondly.
“That’s not a nooo.” Floyd’s grin turned mischievous as he encouraged you to lean more of your weight against him, clearly trying to see how much he could get away with.
“Mmm, see, Jade? She didn’t say no. She liiikes it.”
Jade glanced at your expression, taking in the faint pink on the tip of your ears that probably wasn’t from the cold. “Perhaps she does,” he said, resting his hands neatly on his knees. “But that doesn’t excuse her lack of proper winter gear. [Name], if you insist on wearing light clothing, you’ll catch unnecessary attention—and perhaps a cold.”
“I really won’t.” You smiled faintly, tilting your head to look at him. “My body temperature runs warm. Always has. That’s why I don’t really need coats.”
“’Cause she is!” Floyd threw his arms around you, hugging you tight enough to make you squeak. “C’mon, Jadeee, don’t be all serious-face right now. She’s like a personal kotatsu!”
Jade let out a quiet chuckle at that but didn’t resist when you gently touched his sleeve. “If it really bothers you, I’ll put on a scarf tomorrow,” you said softly.
“That would be acceptable,” Jade said, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “It eases my mind knowing you’re at least partially protected from the cold.”
“Protected?” Floyd repeated, laughing. “Moony doesn’t need protection from the cold, but fine. If it makes you happy, Jade, we’ll dress her up all cozy tomorrow. Maybe in one of those cute poofy jackets.”
You tilted your head, raising an innocent brow. “Poofy jackets?”
“Yeah, like the kind that makes you look like a marshmallow!” Floyd’s grin widened. “Bet you’d look adorable in one. Ooh, Jade, let’s take her shopping! We’ll pick out the warmest stuff and see what looks best on her!”
“That sounds less like ensuring her safety and more like playing dress-up,” Jade commented, though he didn’t exactly seem opposed to the idea.
“It’s both!” Floyd chirped, squeezing your shoulders. “Right, Moony? You’ll let us pick your clothes?”
“I think it’ll be lovely. We can go shopping if it’ll make you happy.”
“Yessss!” Floyd pumped a fist in the air before suddenly flopping against you again, resting his head on your shoulder.
“For now, though… I’m staying right here. You’re warm. I like warm things.”
“You like warm things?” Jade said, faint amusement in his tone.
“Yeah. Like soup. And hot cocoa. And Moony.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at the way Floyd said your nickname like you were part of a food group. “I’m not hot cocoa.”
“Mmm, but you’re cozy like it.” Floyd didn’t seem to care how sappy he sounded, content to cling to you like an overly affectionate eel.
Jade, meanwhile, was quietly observing, noting the way you didn’t try to move away. “You seem very patient with my brother,” he said softly.
“I don’t mind,” you admitted, glancing between them. “You two are… comforting, actually. Even when you’re bickering.”
Floyd perked up at that. “See, Jade? She likes us!”
“I never doubted that,” Jade replied smoothly. “Though I imagine she appreciates you not crushing her ribcage.”
“I’m not squishin’ her that hard,” Floyd whined, but he loosened his grip slightly anyway. “Better?”
“Much,” you replied with a small smile.
Snow continued to fall around you, but you three stayed huddled together on the bench, perfectly content to sit there until your fingers and noses turned pink—or at least, until Floyd got bored and decided to drag you both to the café for hot drinks.
Even then, he refused to let go of your arm the entire walk there, shooting Jade a smug look every time your fingers brushed. Jade just sighed quietly but stayed close on your other side, ready to slip his scarf around your neck if the wind picked up.
Because even if you didn’t feel the cold, he still wanted to make sure.

Masterlist
It was such an odd time, but at 2:52 on the dot, the door to the Mostro Lounge would open and you would walk in like you owned the place. It was the same every single day, rain or shine. You would walk in, Jade would pretend to take your order as you ask to try something new with an absurd amount of confidence. He would smile and tell you to wait while he prepared something for you.
Day in and day out it was the same. When you had gone through everything on the menu, Jade began creating new dishes for you to sample. You tried everything from light snacks to heavy meals to new desserts. And you were never shy about your opinions. If you didn't like something, you'd push it away, throw some coins on the table, and leave. But if you loved it, you would talk his ear off about what you liked and demand he put it on the menu. You would push him to add it until he eventually relented. Sure, it annoyed Azul like crazy, but Jade never said no to you.
So when it was 2:52, and the bell above the door rang, Jade knew exactly who had just walked into the Loung. But he didn't say anything. At least, not like he usually did. Whenever you walked in, he would greet you with a smile and direct you to your usual table. But today, he was running around like a chicken with your head cut off. The Lounge was swamped, more so than usual. People filled every available space and it looked like he was the only one working. It seems Floyd decided to skip work today.
"What's happening here?" You asked when he moved past you.
"Busy day." Jade replied, his words clipped. "Lots of customers and no one working. Azul is sick and Floyd got detention."
"Why?"
"I don't know and I frankly don't care." He vaguely gestured towards your normal table. "You can have a seat over there. I'll be with you as soon as I can."
Your eyes softened when you saw the table. Even with the place filled to the brim, he still managed to keep your usual spot open and clean for you. You were touched by such a thoughtful gesture.
You sat there for a few minutes, watching as he raced about the cafe, filling orders and serving customers. You didn't understand why the staff decided to leave him hanging like this. It wasn't fair! You couldn't bear to watch him work himself to the bone like this.
So with your mind made up, you stood from your table, walked over to the one beside you, and said, "Hi, I'm Y/n, I'll be your waiter today. What can I get you?"
Without asking for permission, you began to lighten the load on Jade's shoulders. You waited on tables and served the customers. You even made a couple of drinks or snagged some of the freshly made pastries for those ordering dessert. Despite struggling a little in the beginning, you found yourself getting into the swing of things. Before too long, the crowd had thinned out and everyone had been served.
Jade found you sitting at your usual table, sipping on a cup of tea you had prepared for yourself. He took a seat across from you and narrowed his eyes at you. "Why did you do that?"
You looked at him like you had no idea what he was talking about. "Pardon?"
"Why did you help me?"
"Because you needed help." You shrugged like it was the most obvious thing in the world. But he narrowed his eyes even further. You shifted in your seat, before continuing. "I mean, you were doing the work of three people by yourself. You obviously needed some assistance. And it's not like I was doing anything just sitting here."
"You didn't have to do that."
"I didn't have to. I wanted to."
He sighed and shook his head. "I should have gotten you something while you waited."
"Don't start beating yourself up because of me." You lightly chided him, knowing he wasn't all that upset. If anything, he seemed impressed, which made you happy. "I didn't mind helping. I mean, I'm not looking to be a permanent addition to your establishment, but if you ever need an extra pair of hands, just let me know."
There's a brief moment of silence as he stares at you. And then he smiled, and you swore you could feel your heart flutter. "Thank you. I appreciate it."
"You're welcome." You mumbled as you tried to cover your blush. "Now, I want to try something new."
Hello again! Lemme get a writing request in too while I'm at it, hehe. :3 You got any househusband octotrio headcanons? I'm always starving for some seafood.

Azul
He hates to just sit around, especially when he thinks there’s more to do. He loves to keep busy, he always has to be doing something.
It doesn’t all have to be manual labor though, he might spend hours looking up recipes that he’d think you’d enjoy, or taking extra classes, like a cooking or spend some time peacefully gardening.
He likes to pack your lunch every morning, and he’ll always add a lot bit of your favorite snack to give you a boost of energy to get through the day
He’s always overworking himself, and ignoring his needs. Like rest.
“Ah, y/n, you’re home early. What a surprise…”
“Are you okay Azul, you look like you’re drenched in sweat- Are you coming down with a fever…?”
“No I feel fine,” He reassured you.
“You’ve been overworking yourself too much then.”
“I have not. I’ve just been doing what needs to be done.” He scolded, trying to prove a point.
“Come on, I’ll cook dinner today, it’s your turn to rest.”
“But you’ve been at work all day- It’s fine really-!”
“And you’ve been cleaning all day, it’s your turn to take a break.”
“Thank you y/n… I appreciate it.” He sighed with a smile, knowing that arguing was futile.
Jade
An absolute clean freak, but in a chaotic way. You’ve never seen anyone scrub a toilet with so much energy and effort but with such a stoic yet smiley face.
He might leave things out a bit if he gets preoccupied with something else, like he’ll leave the faucet on for hours while he’s vacuuming, or he’ll leave out a carton of milked cause he remember that he needed to clean the windows.
But he likes to work by himself, you’ll offer to help but he can be stubborn when he wants to, so you cave, and right after you tell him that the sink is on fire, for the 3rd time that week. It was a Tuesday.
He loves to welcome you home from work with kind gestures, like preparing a surprise picnic, or giving you a massage if you mention that you’re sore.
“Ah… Please be gentle, Jade.”
“Of course, y/n…”
“Uggh…Not so hard!”
“I apologize it’s hard to contain myself when you’re… like this.”
“Jade! It- it hurts! But it feels so good.”
“I know y/n, trust in me.”
“Nngh…Azul was right, you really do give great shoulder massages.”
And poor Grimm was outside your door wanting to ask you something, traumatized. Ngl, situations like that happen quite frequently.
Floyd
Your shelved are filled with random things he finds at markets or thrift stores. Including a very creepy doll that you swear you saw blink.
But Floyd calls it his treasure so you just shrug and let him continue his collection. He is a bit of a hoarder though and you need to help him sort through a bunch of things.
You try the pile method but he ends up putting everything in the maybe it the keep pile. You get absolutely no where.
He hates being bored but he won’t do a lot of extra work, so he’ll go out and find more things, like little nicknacks that he says reminds him of you. …Like a cartoon squirrel easy-bake-oven. You decide to take it in stride.
He also breaks things quite a bit, he tries to fix them for the most part, but sometimes he just gives up and will put broken dishes back in the cabinets.
“Why are all of our dishes broken..?”
“They’re not broken, now we have dinner ware for 57 more little shrimpies!”
“…When are we inviting 57 shrimp over dinner?”
“Next Wednesday, do you not check the calendar? We put it up for a reason.”
Larisa had to laugh at how ridiculous she must look. Of all days to go out without an umbrella. Rain poured down around her, soaking her red locks and dripping off trees. It was beautiful in a strange way, but she couldn't wait to be home. She continued her sprint down the sidewalk, not even pretending to try and stay dry. She just figured the quicker she was able to get into her nice warm flat, the better.
She spared a quick glance and a smile for the door of her next door neighbor before unlocking her own door and all but falling inside. "Ryuu! I'm home!" she called. "Pour me a drink, will you please?" Ryuu was crashed out on the couch, and grunted with annoyance and he heaved himself to his feet. He glanced her over.
"You look like a drowned rat," he said dismissively. Larisa stuck her tongue out at him in a rare display of childishness.
"You try running down three blocks in the pouring rain and see what you look like after," she returned. "In heels, mind you!"
"Thanks but no thanks," Ryuu replied with a smirk. He disappeared into the kitchen, and shortly after Larisa heard the gratifying clunk of a glass being set on the counter and the sound of liquid filling a glass. She quickly ducked into her room to change out of her soaked garments and blow dry her hair a bit.
Shortly after she was curled up on the couch, her glass of vodka in one hand, the other hand softly petting Akai who upon discovering that his human had returned had promptly claimed his rightful place in her lap. She gazed out the window for a long while, simply enjoying the sight and sound of the rain. It was much nicer when viewed from inside a nice warm building. She glanced at Ryuu.
"You want to watch a movie?" she asked. He blinked at her for a moment.
"You are the most random, silly assassin I've ever met," he replied. There was a moment of silence. "Sure. What movie?" Larisa laughed and settled deeper into the sofa.
"I don't care. You pick." She supposed he was right, but she didn't really care. What was the point of picking people off if you couldn't have fun while you were doing it? Larisa had to admit, she led a pretty darn good life.
