Keely didn’t get much of a chance to talk to him after that. The two of them were quickly swept up by the room. Everyone eager to meet the newcomers and share their own stories.
Jesse ended up deep in conversation with Aiden, who, it turned out, was a trans man like him. Meanwhile, Keely found herself chatting with Jade, Celese, and Gina.
Maya and Kale seemed nice too, though significantly more focused on the free pizza.
Keely had to mentally check herself as she arrived at her first meet-up at Celeste’s.
Despite her best efforts, a few uncomfortable stereotypes had crept up on her. She caught herself wondering what a room full of trans people would look like, and immediately hated that her brain had gone there.
To her surprise, the room was just full of… people.
Different ages, different styles, some with partners, some alone. Just ordinary lives happening in one place.
And somehow, that was the most comforting thing of all.

Just got my May Essential Rewards order (i ordered really late in May because I was away on a trip). And I totally forgot I had purchased Jade Lemon, which is a June Promotion! It’s not open in this picture, but I haven’t been able to put it down since opening 5 seconds after taking this photo.

I also ordered Cypress and Ocotea, two more new oils. My boyfriend LOVES grounding scents so I know that he will love Cypress and Ocotea is an oil that can help support the digestive system. I use peppermint for this reason on a daily basis and figured that i should try to mix it up a little bit!
