Jade heard that @choccy-milky’s MC, Clora, loves Sherlock Holmes so she wanted to share the Chinese equivalent, Detective DiRenJie. Not sure if Clora’s Sebastian is happy with more literature that will take Clora’s attention from him though. 😂
To make it up to him, Jade shared with Clora a set of Tang Dynasty hanfu.
Clora was one of the first MCs I’ve ever followed so I really wanted to draw her ❤️
The infamous ignorant scene. Sebastian broke Jade’s trust that day by calling her the only thing she will not tolerate.
Jade’s mother always calls her an “ignorant child.” So Jade absolutely hates this word. She’s shared this with Sebastian before but I guess he just wanted to hurt her without thinking of the consequences.
She’ll still help him, she understands how important a twin can be, but she realizes she is only an unclaimed debt to him.
Sebastian knew he screwed up the moment he saw her cry. Jade never cries, even after the Cruciatus Curse (at least he’s never seen her cry).
I’m still getting used to drawing people but I really wanted to draw @tamayula-hl’s MC, Sakurako! Tamayula is such a gem and an absolute gift to the Hogwarts Legacy community. They bless us with their amazing talent ❤️

My first week of #Hogtober entries!
Day 1: “Ollivanders”
Jade didn’t have a good time finding her wand. The first couple exploded in her face and she was shook. It took forever for her finally get her wand
Day 2: “Feldcroft”
When Jade went with Sebastian she was able to help with Anne’s pain through traditional Chinese healing. Jade’s no stranger to pain herself so she how relieve some of it.
Day 3: “Sebastian Sallow”
(Not my best work so might redo in the future.) Sebastian loves all books (bc he’s a NERD). And I mean ALL books, not just ones about Dark Arts.
Day 4: “Arena”
Jade comes across the Dark Arts Arena for the first time and is conflicted. Should she enter? Or stay on the path of healing.
Day 5: “Divination”
Jade had a hard time grasping Divination taught at Hogwarts. She was used to traditional divination of her home country using a turtle shell and coins.
Day 6: “Natsai Onai”
Jade admires Natty’s courage and want to always do the right thing. She thinks Natty’s confidence to stay true to herself is commendable.
Day 7: “Honeydukes”

Jade never got to properly visit Honeydukes on her first trip to Hogsmeade. So Ominis and Sebastian decided to take her. She loved all the bright colors and animated sweets. Unfortunately many of the treats were too sweet to her liking.

Day 8 “Vivarium”
Jade loved all her vivariums. Each has its own uses and its beasts. But she loved the swamp vivarium for its tranquility and peace.
Day 9: “Poppy Sweeting”
Poppy and Jade are a #SlytherPuff duo! They compliment each other nicely and work off of each others’ strengths.
Day 10: “Ruins”
Sometimes it’s the Ruins where you have a chance at peace. Not much wonder into where broken stone lies. A sanctuary for a weary soul needing rest.
Day 11: “Astronomy”
Ominis has trouble with Astronomy Class. So Jade helps him by allowing him to see the see the stars.
(10 points if you can guess the three constellations she’s showing him✨)
Day 12 “Amit Thakkar”
The heavens and the stars shine in his eyes. It is the cosmos that he yearns for. And it’s much safer than the adventures of the MC. ✨
Day 13 “Three Broomsticks”
The Shadow Trio relaxing with a butterbeer. Jade’s first experience was ruined by Rookwood so the boys took her back. It was still too sweet to her liking but she enjoyed time with the boys.
Day 14 “Centaur”
Jade had a difficult time looking at Dorran originally. Not having used to seeing a male body full on display. Dorran is, of course, confused why this little human is frazzled.

Here’s “Jade” Yu Ying/嬴玉
Here she’s 5th year and she’s a Slytherin 🐍🐍🐍
Her favorite subject is Potions, because it’s most like traditional Chinese medicine brewing. It makes sense to her and is familiar.
Least favorite subject is Charms and Divination. Charms because the British magic works differently than what she’s used to. Divination because it’s also hard for her to rationalize.
Her favorite teacher is Professor Howin. Professor Howin was actually a childhood friend of Jade’s grandmother and she finds comfort in a familiar adult presence. She also soothes her homesickness.
Jade doesn’t participate in any school clubs but her hobbies are healing and acupuncture.
Jade always wanted to be a healer, especially since she was cursed at a young age and she needs medication to keep it dormant. The curse was also the reason for her late manifestation of magic. But she was taught healing since she was little and actually enjoys it.
She collects herbs and store it in her personal apothecary in her ROR. She also brings around her acupuncture kit. (Which she uses to help Anne).

Day 15 “Scars”
Jade has had only two scars in her life. The first is the mark on her face from her curse as a child. The second in adulthood when her enemy attempts to forcibly remove her children from inside her. Only her Ancient Magic saved her life.
Day 16 “MCxMC”
Jasper isn’t exacly an MC but he is Jade’s twin brother. Can you guess which sibling is older?
What has Jasper done for Jade to reprimand him?
Day 17 “Goblins”
Jade enjoyed speaking to Lodgok, learning from his experiences. Little did she know that this would be their last conversation.
Day 18 “Gringotts”
Jade is no stranger being hurt and seeing others be hurt. But the brutality of Ranrok brought back a lot of unwanted memories from her childhood.
Day 19 “Poltergeist”
Peeves will forever be the bane of Sebastian’s life. The taunting call of “Naughty naughty. You’ll get caught-y~” plague his nightmares.
Day 20: “MCxCanon”
Jade navigated a relationship that includes her, Ominis, and Sebastian. It’s not always easy but they work off each others’ strengths. Is their relationship endgame? We’ll see.
Day 21 “Past/Future”
The days of Hogwarts will pass and Jade will grow older. Her choices will shape her and leave its mark. I wonder who fathers her children?
