Jade Faced Princess

I just really like including JFP and her clan in fanfics.. it’s a really fun plot point to have her try to ensnare DBK either directly or through his son. Anyway, here is a design I couldn’t help but make for her because I’ve been thinking about her fox clan a lot.

Wow, I wonder if Princess Iron Fan knew that her husband had a mistress.

Well, if she found out that her husband had a mistress, she would be very angry with him. I would love to see Princess Iron Fan angry with her husband. It would be fun.😙

In the canon text of JTTW she was well aware of DBK shacking up with Jade Face. Of course, LMK is an interpretation, and loads of stuff is different, so we can do whatever the heck we want with these relationships when we use them in fandom 🥳

Personally, I like to imagine that back before he was sealed away, DBK either had an affair or very nearly had an affair with Jade Faced Princess (which one depends on my mood that day 😏) and PIF did find out about it and was furious.. and honestly she probably kicked his ass until he remembered why she’s the perfect woman for him and he was a fool to ever stray~ But anyway, PIF managed to keep the whole thing hush hush for the sake of their family’s pride (and her own)

I like to keep JFP’s motivations mostly the same as canon, though: she is hugely wealthy and beautiful, but not especially strong, so she wants to have DBK around to protect her, since he is incredibly powerful, the Great Sage Who Pacifies Heaven, and even just his reputation means no one would ever dare to mess with her anyway. Only thing is that pesky wife of his whom he loovvesss 🤮 ..anyway, my thought is that once he falls for her, she assumes that’s the whole ballgame and she’s gonna have him wrapped around her finger forever. She didn’t expect PIF to swoop in and steal him back :U ..the act of him leaving her for his wife is, in my mind, the thing that gets her kind of obsessed with him and she’s desperate to get her claws back into him.. mostly to prove she can at this point. Like, homeboy is gonna break up with ME??? Nuh uh! ☝️

Waaaaa, she's like a real leech. If the Red Son found out that his father had a mistress, he'd be just as angry as his mother.

And my gut tells me that if he met this fox, he'd burn all her tails with his fire. Without a shred of mercy.🔥💥

Oh my gosh yeah, Red Son does not love the idea of his father being unfaithful to his mother.. he’s so dedicated and loyal to the Demon Bull Family that it probably doesn’t make any sense to him that his father, the very Demon Bull King himself, might not be as dedicated.. or at least was not at one point in the past. That’s why, at least when it was mentioned in my other fic, Marry in Haste, Repent at Leisure, Red Son was kind of in denial about it and mentioned that Jade Face probably just made the whole thing up.
