Happy 8th anniversary Zach and Whitney!

Baby Jadon is going home. Such wonderful news.
Jadon, Hazel, and Charlotte’s Impact on The Bates Family Data
As promised, this Post will analyze how the 3 Most Recent GrandBateses—i.e., Jadon Bates–Perkins, Hazel Balka, and Charlotte Smith—impacted and shifted the Overall, Bates Family Data. Starting with...
Timing of... Pregnancy Announcements
Prior to Jadon, Hazel, and Charlotte, a ‘typical’ Bates Couple would go public with Baby News at 105 Days Along (Exactly 15 Weeks). Here’s how it shifted, after Jadon, Hazel, and Charlotte’s data is factored in—
+ Jadon Shifts to 103 [102.89] Days Along (–2 Days)
+ Hazel Shifts to 103 [103.00] Days Along (No Significant Change)
+ Charlotte Shifts to 104 Days Along (+1 Day)
There was a Net Change of –1 Day (105 Days Along to 104 Days Along).
... Sex / Name Reveals
Before the June 2020 GrandBateses, it was Bates–typical for the Sex / Name Reveal to happen when the pregnancy is 138 Days Along (19 Weeks, 5 Days). Here’s how Jadon, Hazel, and Charlotte changed that—
+ Jadon Shifts from 138.33 to 138.31 Days (No Significant Change)
+ Hazel Shifts to 139 Days (+1 Day)
+ Charlotte Shifts to 138 [137.5] Days (–1 Day)
The Net Change is No Significant Change (Day 138.33 to Day 137.5).
... Delivery vs. Due Date
Jadon, Hazel, and Charlotte were all born after 37 Weeks, so their Delivery vs. Due Date Data counts towards the Bates Family Data. Before their arrivals, it was Bates–typical for a GrandBates to arrive 7 Days Early. Jadon, Hazel, and Charlotte shift that, as follows—
+ Jadon Shifts from 6.54 to 6.86 Days Early (No Significant Change)
+ Hazel Shifts to 6.86 to 7.40 Days Early (No Significant Change)
+ Charlotte Shifts to 8 [7.63] Days Early (1 Day Earlier)
The Net Change is –1 Day (1 Day Earlier) (7 Days Early to 8 Days Early).
2nd Child Multiplier
Only Hazel Balka was a 2nd Child; however, even Hazel didn’t impact the 2nd Child Multiplier, since her Child Spacing is a Post–Loss Spacing. (When Josie miscarried, that Theoretical Spacing did shift the 2nd Child Multiplier, though.)
The Bates 2nd Child Multiplier remains 1.6814x.
Average Procreative Pace
Before the June 2020 GrandBateses (Jadon, Hazel, and Charlotte), the Bates Family’s Overall Procreative Pace (PP) was 494 Days (1 Birth / 16.23 Months). Here’s how that shifts due to Jadon, Hazel, and Charlotte’s data—
+ Jadon Shifts to 497 Days (+3 Days)
+ Hazel [ No Impact / Post–Loss Spacing ]
+ Charlotte Shifts to 495 Days (–2 Days)
The Net Change is +1 Day (1 Day Slower) (494 Days to 495 Days)... At least it’s heading in the right direction...
Total # of GrandBateses
As of July 30, 2021, the Predictor expects a total of 249 GrandBateses.
Poll Results: Recent Bates Babies
Recently, three new grand-babies joined the Bates family. I’m a bit behind due to some crazy life stuff, and so I’m playing catch up with our polls. Below the cut are the results for the baby polls!

Polls are here!
Whitney’s Instagram post on January 27, 2021 announcing the gender of her youngest child still has his name spelled as “Jayden Carl”. Anyone know if there was any significant reason behind why they changed the spelling to “Jadon”?
The spelling of “Jadon” is Hebrew and I believe is found in the Bible, so the thinking was that they found that out and just preferred it bc of that. I don’t remember if they ever officially clarified though.

It's wonderful to hear that baby Jadon is doing so much better. I've been so worried about him these past few days. Hopefully he will be home soon.
