I love how Kelly just never really seems to give a fuck how her kids want to spell their names or their kids’ names, to her, they’re Chloe and Cade and either Michaella or Michael or Michaela, depending on the day.
To be fair it looks like Whitney only spent money on the wall paper and the monogram letters. Everything else they might’ve already had and could be used in other settings. Khloe can take those letters and use them in her future house if she wants. And they won’t have to remodel the room once the girls get older because it looks mature enough for teenagers. It doesn’t look like they broke the bank, and most of the decorations were practical. I love it, but that’s my opinion.
My main issue with the room is that it’s for a toddler and a newborn. I don’t mind the decor at all. I think it’s adorable for older girls. And that flower wallpaper is really cute. My daughter would love that room. The letters are arranged in a stupid way, but I like them.
But here’s the problem. It’s not for older girls. It’s for a toddler and a newborn. By the time those kids are old enough to appreciate and want a room like that, half that stuff may no longer exist in a fully functioning manner. Kids destroy everything. That room may be beautiful now, but it may not last. Sure those pillows for Khloe are pretty but they’re expensive and they won’t even stay in that crib bc there’s no room for a baby in there. So they’ll end up becoming clutter on the chair or Kaci’s bed. (Or course this is all assuming Khloe even sleeps in that room. I’m not a fan of making a toddler and an infant share a room but that’s a different discussion.)
I do love the flower wallpaper. I just worry about how long it will last. Between kids just being kids and baby throw up and all that jazz, I don’t see it lasting through their teenage years.
And on that note, I also wouldn’t count on not having to remodel later. Not just because the wallpaper may be get ruined or the paint may end up with crayon all over it (Or marker .. or nail polish .. or fucking slime .. 😒) but who knows if those girls will even want that kind of room when they’re teenagers.
If that room were for older girls, the 8-12 range, then I would have no issue with it. (Aside from the stupid way the letters are arranged. If you’re going to put the last initial in the center then it needs to be significantly bigger) But it’s not. It’s for a toddler and a newborn. And I just don’t see it lasting.
Khloe put lotion and peanut butter in her hair to get Whitney to wash her hair a second time before bed 🤣
