“Hangeng-” René gasps softly as his eyes lift to see the familiar frame stood in the doorway of his small apartment, surrounded by piles of books. Thank god he hadn’t moved. He had always hoped the robot boy would find his way back to him. Swiftly the vampire is up on long legs, taking wide gated steps towards him as cool hands reach out to cup the male’s cheeks and gaze back into those dark eyes. 

“You have been gone for too long” he murmurs, hoping to sooth and welcome Hangeng back into his presence. René would have him no where but here, with him, if he had sought to return. His life may be a little different now to how it was when it was just the two of them, but he would always have space for him. Even if it did mean kicking Itsuki’s off of the sofa so the android had space to sleep.

Jaejoong landed on the windowsill with practiced ease and easily unlocked it with his claws. The room was dusty, to be expected since it hadn't been in use in months. His wings pulled in close to him as he stepped down off the window and he knew that the wolves would know there was an intruder in their home. He wasn't worried. He knew he would be safe, though he expected quite the commotion at his sudden reappearance. He used his wings to kick up a lot of the dust and send it out of the window. He'd just folded them neatly against himself once again when the door opened. @sentimentalscientia

Do you think an alpha who gets a vasectomy would still have ruts?

A vasectomy separates the sperm from getting into the semen. Sperm is what gets people pregnant of course. Though I don’t think that it has much effect on hormones and sex drive.

I would think that they would still have ruts, but not so intense and/or long. Since the biological part of them, the sperms, is stopped they won’t find the intense to breed because they know that they won’t be able to get an Omega(/Beta) pregnant. They’ll feel the need for sex, I’m sure.

Or they could never have a rut again.

Up to you. I think it’s much like the first scenario.

In a blink of an eye a small rolled piece of paper appeared on top of the vampire’s desk. Inside the following could be read:

I know we’ve not spoken since the wedding, which again we appreciate your presence on said day, and thus we would like to invite you over to our house to really catch up on what has been happening with you since you had to go away, over some tea or something stronger, if that’s your preference.

On the bottom of the note, in a different handwriting that one could describe as chickenscratch, more was written:

PS - I will be on my best behavior - Jae

Lifting his eyes, René feels that uncomfortable tingle of static like energy, the tell tale sense of magic, before his eyes snap to a neatly rolled piece of paper, perched on top of his books, with his name nicely written in flowing typography on the top. This could only be bad news. With a small grumble under his breath, the vampire reaches out his long fingers for the letter, and slowly unrolls it, eyes scanning the handwritten words. Short, to the point, just how he likes… they were trying to butter him up for something, no doubt. 

“Why do I find that hard to believe-” he mumbles to himself, knowing that even on his best behaviour Jaejoong was still a terror, before he sighs, quickly gives in (the speed of which anyone who knew René would know was only reserved for those close), and slowly stands. Plucking his long black coat from the chair he pulls it on with a flourish of coattails before moving toward the door. 

It is not long after that with the probably nth sigh of the evening, the vampire lifts a hand to gently rap his knuckles against the door of their home. @warlockxleehom @jae-the-fallen

“You should button up, my boy.. you might catch your death-” the vampire smirks softly with a curl to his lips.

Jaejoong's eyes shine with something long buried and he grins. "I often times tell Leehom that he's tamed me. I used to be wild. I do miss it sometimes yet at the same time it isn't voluntary, it just simply has come and gone, the person I used to be." He smirked as well. "I was closer to demon than angel, with how I acted... though are you sure you would like to hunt with me? After all, though my appetite has diversified, you're still quight high on the menu."

Arching an eye brow as he gazes back at the fellow predator, René hums softly, dark talon like nail tapping against his lip. “I believe I can find something equally delicious to wet your appetite and keep myself safe..” he teases gently before turning away to lead the man out into the field of their hunt. “Vampire?” He calls back, ready to search for something to feed the man.

Jaejoong understood the unspoken statement but as long as he had known Rene` he had expected it. "We aren't exactly conventional friends but yeah. I consider us friends. I really appreciate it... as happy as I am to marry Leehom, it's still a little disheartening to have no guests." He frowned.

“Perhaps if you lifted your head from each other, you might find time to make more acquaintances” the vampire chides softly before moving closer with his arms steadily unfolding. “You must remember the angel you once were, before you settled down, became happy like a stuffed-” he pauses before saying chicken. Knowing the others distaste for bird references, and hums “-hog”. His lip curls in amusement, but this time it is not mean, but holds a glimmer of excitement. “Hunt with me..” he purrs, hoping to entice.
