He’s confused, his chest burns, and he doesn’t know how to process these emotions. He knew it was jealousy, so maybe he just didn’t know how to process it when it came to love. His fist clench, his anger is building to its boiling point. He needed to calm down before he did anything foolish and ultimately hurt you in the end. Jeabeom excused himself from the room in hopes that some fresh air would calm his nerves. He was trying so hard to be calm for you and not let his emotions get the better of him. Soft footsteps could be heard walking up behind him “Are you okay?” you asked, worry heavy in your voice. “Yeah, I just needed some fresh air. The room was too stuffy.” he responded, hoping you hadn’t caught on to his anger. Your body instinctively leans into his back as your arms wrapped around his waist. “Was it because of earlier? If so I’m sorry I put you in the position to feel upset,” your arms tighten around his waist. It seems you have him figured out already. “Don’t ever apologize for how I feel when it’s not your fault. This is something I’m going to have to understand and control on my own,” he leans his body into yours, unconsciously looking for your warmth. “I just want to help you,” you whisper into his back. Jaebeom lets out a soft chuckle “You being here comforting me is all you need to do. I’ll figure out my emotions as time goes on. Just give me some time and if I don’t, leave me. Me being childish is not worth your heartache.” your arms squeeze him once again “I don’t know if I could ever leave you.” his body turns in your arms, bringing your head to rest on his chest “I don’t want you to ever leave, but I love you too much to sit by and let myself needlessly hurt you.” he presses a kiss to your forehead, taking your face between his hands “lets head back in, okay?” you nod your head the best you can as he places one last kiss on the tip of your nose. He would learn to control his jealousy because a life without you was a life without a beating heart.
