Queen... if she wants a grandchild... should we have a baby? (pt. 1) (pt.2)
I think I'm now only going to use a marker pen while drawing.
Anywho, while writing Night and Stars and the Desert, I've been playing with the concept of Rogue staying behind with En Sabah Nur*.
Here they are at the beginning of things, should she stay behind and get more involved with Egyptian life.
*= A gentle but stern reminder that En Sabah Nur is not Apocalypse.
En Sabah Nur is an outcast mutant who was abandoned by his mother to die alone in the desert. He spent his entire childhood in chains, sold at auction, and enslaved to Logos. He escaped and became a leader, the soul son of Ba'al. He's faced whole armies BY HIS LONESOME. He rages when he's angry and speaks softly when he wants to get close. He listens to his advisors. HE STOPS BA'AL AND MAGNETO FROM FIGHTING. He gives speeches and inspires his horsemen (and yes that irony is not lost on me). He has gorgeous bodice-ripper-model-cover hair and a Gaston jawline. He can bench press a bus filled with every dude that's banged OP's mom.
He is not Apocalypse.
Apocalypse is the monster En Sabah Nur becomes after giving in to the Celestial powers.

No
I've never heard of this film
Legitimately Nur should be so much more fucked up in JFO. Like, Cal was sent into a full-on psychometry seizure and flashback just from touching Trilla’s lightsaber, which she didn’t even have during the torture he saw. Being on the planet, inside the Fortress, in the exact room where not only Trilla but almost a dozen others went through that shit? It should’ve been awful.
There should’ve been way too many Force Echoes everywhere, we should’ve heard screaming in the soundtrack, when Cal went to meditate he should’ve been plagued by visions of Trilla, Inquisitor Cal, maybe even Masana, like come on.
