I will never understand why people love Demande. I hope the Infinity arc comes, I want to see the Witches 5 and Super sailor moon transformation. Of course the arc I'm dying to see is Dream Arc. That arc is the best.
I still don’t understand that myself. Yes I want to see the rest of the arcs!
I enjoy Crystal. I don't know why the animators don't try better. I'm just glad we didn't get their original idea what they wanted to do with the show. Also, I think for us Manga/90's anime fans it loses the element of surprise. We already know what's happening, so I think that takes from the magic. All new viewers on this series I seen love it, for us is like oh I already knew it was coming.
To me, the knowing what’s going to happen thing doesn’t bother me since we never saw the manga faithfully animated so there’s a lot of anticipation of how it will turn out in motion.
Unfortunately, given it’s Crystal we’re talking it’ll turn out bad.
Crystal has bigger issues than having its whole story already revealed.
Well the only thing is an event going on before Usagi's birthday. Let's see, and a lot of merchandise was announced this week. Either way, they wI'll announce if the show will continue or get the axe.
The thing I’m saying that yes, this event celebrating Usa/Chibs birthday would be the perfect time to announce if they are continue since it’s only two episodes left. But knowing them in some events in the past they make not saying anything about it which they should. I hope they do but not getting my hopes so high then they come crashing down.
We will know for sure on Monday with the Sailor Moon Crystal event. Let's see what will happen.
I never get my hopes up with those events anymore. You want it to be something big but always be something about new merch and little something about the New Myu. Nothing huge.
What I liked about the TV show so far, that it looks like Clary will actually get some training early on. Is what bother me about the novels, she doesn't get any till book four.
I went on a huge twitter rant about this. It seems like the show is using more logic/common sense than the books, and is tapping into the unused potential that the books had. Since the books exist, they know what doesn’t work right in the story and they can fix the problems everyone has with the books.
For example, Clary’s training taking forever to start and the show starting it early. And a lot of people dislike that the Downworlders aren’t in the books much and the show is putting them into the story more. Luke being a cop makes way more sense than him owning a bookstore. And I’m sure once the show airs, we’re going to see more changes that make the show better than the books.
Unpopular opinion: I do believe ID has better writing from the earlier MI novels, but Tessa wasn't a strong character. She didn't do much, and I hope one day Cassie does an novel from a guy being the main protagonist. Doesn't have to be a shadowhunter.
strongly agree | agree | neutral | disagree | strongly disagree
The Bane Chronicles (and Magnus isn’t a Shadowhunter), TSA, and The Last Hours all have male protags. And I think the protag of The Wicked Powers will be male. But I don’t see why she’d make a protag in The Shadowhunter Chronicles not be a Shadowhunter.
Tessa didn’t really have much to do in the books except be in a love triangle. I can’t help but compare her to Clary since they’re both the only protags in full series that are in TSC, and Clary is a more interesting heroine because she’s actually got stuff to do, where Tessa is just there for the male characters to either use or fall in love with.
Clary does have some development with Simon and Jace, but Clary is also going through getting her memories, getting her mom, stopping both wars, finding the Cup, keeping her friends alive, and fighting demons. She actually has stuff to do that isn’t about the male characters. The only thing Tessa is doing that doesn’t revolve around a guy is learning to control her powers. And she’s only learning how to do that so she can stop Mortiman (a man) from starting a war.
It’s not that I don’t like Tessa, I think she’s fine. But she’s a poorly written character who is just there to be (at best) an audience stand in, and (at worst) Jem and Will’s love interest.
I will always not trust Jeff, this is the same person who took his words back when he said a Sterek kiss is for fan fics. People tend to forget that. He took his words back after the chaos that was happening and is when they started promoting the shit with Sterek, they got a few more fans and so on and then they stopped with the whole Sterek talking. Also I hate how they just keep hinting at Stiles bisexuality but don't play on it. It gets frustrating.
Jeff is and always be someone we can't really trust. He IS the nogitsune.
I don't know if in two years from now he has changed his mind on Sterek and if we've "persuaded" him.
I think fandom is reacting this bad not because of him not making Sterek canon.
I think Sterek shippers are much more disheartened because he has cut off all of their interactions which where BRLLIANT even without the shipper goggles.
It's like a part of Teen Wolf is missing... and even when people that don't ship Sterek notice that... you know something's up.
