This year i got the opportunity to bring to life one jacket that i felt in love at first sight and only can dreamed of. On December 5, 2018 Oprah Winfrey was the cover story for Elle India magazine and i felt in love with one of the jackets she wore. After researching i found out that it was designed by Anamika Khanna and put it on my vision board as a one day custom jacket design to have in life.
As the story turns, one of my best friends @saritaheda decides to get married in India for March of 2019 and while preparing for the outfits for the wedding in Mumbai, my lovely Indian princess (sister of the soon to be bride) @sonalheda whispers to me “lets make your jacket!” I was in shock and amazed about the possibly of bringing this to life. One month later and after many hardships, with Sonal’s and her mother’s help we were able to design and custom-make the blazer jacket that i ended wearing for the wedding night reception.
