her first victim was joe. it was his turn to cook dinner tonight, so that’s when she would strike. she sat in her room waiting for the right time to run up to joe and hug him tight.

she ran into the kitchen, setting her phone up and starting the video. joe was placing pans on the stove

setting out all of the food he would be cooking, chicken and rice with a side of broccoli and carrots.

one of the only things he knew how to cook in her opinion. because she swears every time he cooks that’s what he makes.

she turned the phone to land right on joe, she walked up to joe, wrapping her arms around him. joe froze, confusingly. “what’s wrong with you?” joe asked. patting her on her the shoulder.

“can’t even give my big brother a hug?” she asked. pulling away from him. “you can.. when needed.” he nodded. “what if it was needed.” she teased.

“you would’ve told me, dummy.” he kissed his younger sister on the head.

her next victim and last, was jake. she would wait until her came home and just run up to him and hug him.

she waited until she heard the front door open. sitting, well laying, on the couch. she walked over to jake.her phone sat up on the wall angled to show her and jake.

she hugged him, tightly. jake raised his eyebrow but wrapped his arms around her, hugging her back.

“are you okay?” jake asked, leaning into her. “yea, just wanted a hug.” she smiled. “oh okay.” jake nodded.

a few seconds later ahe pulled away and watched jake walk away before grabbing her phone.

“he’s not usually that sweet don’t worry.” she giggled. turning the camera off and adding the two clips to a video before posting it.

she loves her brothers, no matter what. they’re the best brothers she could’ve ever asked for, she loves growing up with them. the best part about being the youngest is you always have someone to lean on.

standing at the bar, waiting for the bartender to get herself a drink. she scanned the menu acting interested knowing she was just gonna get a vodka soda with lime.

“what can i get you?” he asked. “vodka soda with lime, please.” she closed the menu and waited for the nod.

it was a house party but it was fancy as hell, some rich person must be hosting. they were paying a band and for a bar.

a built in bar at that, she waited by the bar. her friends not far away. she swayed her hips to the music.

she swayed her hips, dancing a long. she stopped when a man introduced himself. he stepped into her personal space.

she backed away, looking to see if her drink was done. “i’m chris.” he introduced taking her hand. she brought her hand back with force.

“here you go.” the bartender said, handing her her drink. “thank you.” she quickly took her drink covering the top.

“come on pretty lady.” he grabbed her hips. “back off.” she said, backing away, and trying to walk away from the man.

jake wrapped his arm around her shoulder. “what’s going on here?” he asked. “who are you?” chris huffed.

“i’m her boyfriend.” he tucked her behind him, keeping her away from the man. “oh, shit sorry man thought she was single.” he shook his head.

“doesn’t matter, you shouldn’t touch a girl without her permission.” jake took her away and brought her to the bathroom.

“you okay?” he asked. “yea, thank you jake.” she hugged him. “of course.”

little did she know, he was thinking about how he wished he was actually her boyfriend , he didn’t wanna fake it just for one man, he wanted it to be real.

it had been storming the past few days in columbus, the spring weather that no one, especially y/n, wanted.

the thunder banged loudly as she cuddled into her bed, covered by her blankets and a pillow over her ears.

what she didn’t know was that her boyfriend, the sweetest boy ever Jake Dunlap, was running in the storm to her dorm.

from across the campus from his last class of the day, could he have gotten a ride or something, but he put on his jacket and ran in the thunder and lightning.

jake ran to the dorms, he stood outside forgetting he doesn’t have a key card and waited for someone to open the door.

someone let jake in and he ran to y/n’s dorm knocking on the door, water dripping off of his clothes.

she barley heard the knock but she did and got up, walking to the door and opening it. “jake?” she asked. “hi.” he walked inside.

“let me get you some clothes, oh my god. you must be freezing and you’re gonna get hypothermia.” she ran around the dorm grabbing some of his clothes he left here.

sweats, a t-shirt, and a hoodie. “here, let me turn the heat on.” she handed him the clothes. “y/n, i’m fine.” jake sighed, taking the clothes and going into the bathroom to change.

“what part of campus did you even come from? your last class is so far away. jake you did not.” she came to a realization. “i did because i know you’re scared and i wanted to be with you.” he told her.

“jake dunlap, you ran across campus just to be with me.” she shook her head as he came out of the bathroom. “i did it because i love you.” he kissed her head.

she smiled, hugging him. “you being here calmed me down.” she whispered. “i’m glad, let’s go lay down and cuddle, i’m cold.” he sighed.

“hypothermia is real!”
