genya and sanemi make me so sad. i understand that genya was scared and said something he shouldn't have and man who could be mad at him, he was just a kid. and i understand that sanemi is an awful awful brother to genya but man i can't be too mad at him because he's understandably fucked in the head and he's broken and being good is hard, he was just a kid. and genya is still that kid who believes in fixing things and sanemi has turned into someone who believes that he can never be fixed and if you can't be fixed one way to deal with it is to break others and it's shitty but i get it. and i get that genya doesn't lose trust, doesn't lose hope, can't lose hope because that's his brother and he loves him no matter how horrible sanemi is to him and it hurts so much because i know none of this will be fixed and i fear that deep deep down genya knows that too. maybe not that he'll die in his brother's arms, or that sanemi will desperately try to make amends in those last few moments because he made so many mistakes and how could he and oh god what has he done. and genya loses, loses his life and so many years of love and care that he deserved from his brother, and sanemi loses, loses the only person who was still trying to be there for him and who he loved and who he couldn't protect because he was too fucked up to find the right approach, loses everyone he ever loved and i fear that maybe he deserves it, just a little, and that's the saddest thing of all.

Ngl I am really reallynervous about this storm. Trying to get some sleep before it hits but I am just too nervous. I'm woefully underprepared. So lil rant about the atla promise comics-

asdjkklas Okay so for the sole reason that I need more alta content, I decided to look into the comics. And so the first one I find is the promise, a trilogy about basically how you can’t split every nation apart because the world is changing blah blah blah. 

Not all too bad in total, i’d give it like a 7 out of 10, but-

1) What the fuck how did the gaang just let aang and zuko make that promise what the fuck what the fuck- Like the intentions were easy to understand but how did no one look at a 17 year old boy trying to fix a whole fucking nation after a 100 year war asking a 12-13 year old boy to kill him (Who, mind you, literally wouldn’t even kill fucking ozai so-) if he started to act like his dad and go, “Huh, that’s fucked up. I should probably tell them this is stupid.” Katara even looks at Aang (If i’m remembering correctly) and apparently has no problem with it what the fuck that one part made no fucking sense what-

2) WHY was Roku so ready to kill Zuko what the frickety frack dude he’s your great-grandson why were you so ready to kill him. Scratch that why was everyone so ready to kill Zuko what the fuck y’all i thought he was your friend-

3) Okay, biggest point, but like, if Aang killed Zuko it would probably set off another war. Come on. Next in line is Azula and if word got out that the Avatar killed one of his best friends because he didn’t want to get rid of all the fire nation people in Yu Dao- I’m sure half of them wouldn’t even mind. Like can you even imagine what the fire nation would think if the avatar killed the fire lord for acting like his dad- Again no one thought anything through in this and they were all dumb as hell. 

So, basically what I’m saying is everyone was acting dumb as fuck during the promise comics and just imagine what would have happened if Zuko had died. That is it.
