LGBTQ Rep Since Cyrus Goodman on Disney Channel

Cyrus Goodman of "Andi Mack" was the first out gay main character on a Disney Channel series. He was also the first to say "I'm gay" on a Disney show. Played by Joshua Rush, Cyrus ended up with his crush, TJ Kippen (Luke Mullen), in the final episode, "We Were Here," airing July 26, 2019.

Violet Sabrewing's two gay dads were introduced on the DuckTales episode, "Challenge of the Senior Junior Woodchucks!" the Season 3 premiere airing on April 4, 2020. They are named Indigo ‘Indy’ Sabrewing and Tyrian ‘Ty’ Sabrewing.

Luz Noceda, the lead character in "The Owl House," was revealed to be bisexual in the episode "Enchanting Grom Fright," premiering on August 8, 2020. She had a romantic dance with her former nemesis and future girlfriend Amity Blight.

An out gay character, Alex, was seen and described as gay on “Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion." The character appeared in only one episode, "Ultra Matchmaker," airing on July 8, 2022.

Trans actress Juliana Joel introduced her out trans character Nikki on the "Raven's Home" episode "The Fierce Awakens," premiering July 8, 2022. Nikki became a recurring character as Raven's fashion design assistant. She is openly described as "trans" on the show. Shown above is Juliana Joel with Raven-Symone.

Disney Channel's first gay marriage proposal was seen on the "Bunk'd" episode, "No Pain, No Grain," first shown on March 3, 2023. Regular character Winnie (Shiloh Verrico) helped her brother Wayne (Frankie Rodriguez) propose to his boyfriend Nicholas (Jacob Haren) during their visit to the camp.

- kc and brett were endgame. i don’t ship her and darien at all

- willow (liv and maddie), brooke (austin and ally), and steward (jessie) were SUPER creepy with their crushes

- ivy is underrated and was SUCH a good friend to teddy

- diggie sucked. mosh is endgame

- i blame maddie for liv and holdens break up. yes it could have also been right person, wrong time, but maddie has always told liv not to bud into her love life and then she did to liv ONCE and ruined it. yes, liv bud in, but when she did, she honestly made things better between her and diggie, even though maddie yelled at her

- i love maddie rooney, okay, but she was really selfish

- liv went from being more immature than maddie to being way more mature than maddie

- parker and val are an underrated couple and i wish they were cannon

- adam davenport is a really bad brother in my opinion. he tortures chase and makes fun of leo. he takes advantage of his super strength against his brother, constantly makes fun of him, and says super offensive things to everyone. i cannot stand adam

- i don’t think mason was toxic. yes, he made a huge mistake with the thing between him and juliet but he put up so many things with alex. if ANYTHING, alex was toxic

- max is underrated

- cali style ruined liv and maddie

- bunked should f*cking end already

- morgan and christina ross are really bad parents. they hire several nanny’s, christina gets jessie a job basically just to get her out her house so that she can finally be a mother for her kids, then sends them to summer camp? tf??

- leo and janelle are so underrated
