This is my wonderful friend Jake. Jake has Cystic Fibrosis and received a double lung transplant last year. However, his body started rejecting the lungs a little while ago, and long story short, he’s in a hospital in Seattle facing his last days. Jake is a beautiful soul and I believe his art is what most purely reflects that. I just want people to look at it and think of him and see that beauty, so it can live on after he is no longer with us.
