Putting up with her

Okay, this might like a weird way to win her heart but to some extent or another, she has a problem with thinking that would people like her.  So, when you’re friends and all she knows but until you’re good friends, she just doesn’t really think you keep liking her?  It’s weird and it really only rears its head a ton in her main verse.  It doesn’t bother her at all but she just doesn’t expect people to stick around.

“You look much better today! Are you feeling better?”

Theo was laying on the sofa in Snow and Al’s living room. He had his arms folded and placed over his eyes to block out the lights. “Better is relative, yes?” One arm lifted away, he was staring at the ceiling.

Theo held out a mug of coffee, it was tilted a little so the handle brushed across Al’s hand to make it easier for Al to grasp. “I’d be lying if I didn’t say I have those days or night or weeks too.”

“I’m just…really tired.”

“Yeah… I know.” He took a seat on a small stool next to Al and bumped his shoulder against him. “You and me both - it’s that tired way deep in your bones and probably in your soul, right?”
