SUPER EPIC JAM COMIC!!! me, @laurellala-comics and @infinite-art teamed up to do a little jam comic based on the prompt “Wright and Co. recieves a mysterious package.”
[ID: a 6 panel ace attorney comic telephone collaboration between tumblr user aloeville (panels 1&2) Infinite-art (panels 3 and 5) and laurellala-comics (4 and 6). The comic is in flat colors with a simplified tan and light green background. Miles Edgeworth wears a burgundy suit with a cravat and gray curtain bangs, Phoenix Wright has olive skin, spiked dark hair, and a blue suit, and Maya Fey has medium brown skin, long dark hair, and purple spirit channeling robes. In panel 1, Nick and Maya stand in the Wright & co office staring at a big box in confusion "hey Nick, what's up with that huge box?" "I...I don't know". From off screen we see someone say "wright?". In panel 2 we see it was Miles who called NIck's name. "sorry I'm late, I had to take the-" there is a thunk as Miles stubs his toe on the box, he clutches his foot in pain and shouts an explitive in the form of symbols. In panel 3 we see the back of Miles' head with angry lines coming off it. Nick stands by his desk and says "oh, Edgeworth!" Maya sits behind the desk with her head propped on her hands and says "sorry about the box. We had no other place to put it". In panel 4, Miles angrily crouches to lift up the box, which we see now is quite long and rectangular. "Ugh, your lackadaisical approach to organization knows no bounds. I'll handle this. As I was SAYING, I had to take the hair sample to the lab to get it tested. It's the only lead we have now that the body's gone missing from the crime scene". In panel 5, Edgeworth has the box fully vertical/ the flaps begin to open. "I swear that detective would lose his head if it weren't attached to him. His pay will be docked accordingly." We see packing peanuts fall out the bottom and a large shadow befins to fall out. In panel 6, Miles stands in the background with the now empty box standing in front of him, looking annoyed. From off screen Maya yells "EWW!!!" Miles shouts "Oh, for GOODNESS sake!" Nick crouches in front of the dead body that's fallen out of the box on top of a pile of packing peanuts. He looks only mildly concerned. "Well, looks like Gumshoe won't need that pay cut after all" :/END ID]
