EDITION 7 & EXCITING NEWS
Sip on this...
We’ve been taking a bit of time off since Edition 6, but we’re back with exciting news:
As you all know, one of Ja.’s main goals is to help our contributors get their work published and platformed in larger South African media organizations, so we’re super stoked to announce that as of this month, Ja. will be partnering with The Journalist, who will now be featuring the work of our very own contributors in their arts section!
For those of you who don’t know, The Journalist is an independent, not for profit organisation working with the academic community and a range of credible online entities to make knowledge more accessible to the wider public. Their arts section features reviews, artist profiles, opinion pieces, and write ups on South African arts events, offering incisive and much needed insight into the contemporary South African arts community. www.thejournalist.org.za/art
So what does all of this mean? It means that if you submit your local arts related writing to us, you could have your work featured on The Journalist as well as possibly earn a bit of cash!
We’re already looking for content for our next edition so if you’re interested in contributing, we’d love to check out your work.
Head over to www.jaonlinemagazine.com or email us at [email protected] for more information.
DEADLINE FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS 12 FEB
