I'm not calling for a second chance
I'm screaming at the top of my voice
Give me reason, but don't give me choice
'Cause I'll just make the same mistake again

James Blunt, You're Beautiful
Did I ever post this? Basically both Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn were kinda elitist dicks about James Blunt in the press, Noel on one of his many diatribes said something about wanting to move out of Ibiza because he didn’t want to be next door neighbours to Blunt. Damon apparently didn’t want to be in the same photo as James Blunt at Jools Holland and asked not to be photographed with him.
And lastly…
I'm really curious about the use of James Blunt's You're Beautiful as the song that Algernon and Jack sing as they come back into the house in the National Theatre staging because James Blunt himself finds it funny that people use it at weddings as it's... not romantic at all
I mean a cursory glance at the lyrics:
And I don't know what to do 'Cause I'll never be with you
Yeah, she caught my eye, as I walked on by She could see from my face that I was, fucking high And I don't think that I'll see her again But, we shared a moment that will last 'til the end
I want to know if they used it ironically or not! Because if they did that's a pretty good joke, singing the creepy stalker song as a love song.
James Blunt finally reveals the creepy real story behind 'You're Beautiful', and it's not as romantic as you'd think.
