Privately, Fabian thought Stefan might look rather becoming in footwear other than his usual loafers. Oh, not James' ridiculous purple things with the silver tooling, but some cuban-heeled confection that went up past his knees. James caught his eye, a tellingly wicked gleam reflected back at him, and Fabian knew his cohort had accurately guessed the subject of his speculation. Poor Doctor Kedon. So much he'd never know.
