We're so excited to announce that we’ll be back cooking in this legendary kitchen February 1st!! Join us at the @beardfoundation for a culinary journey along the Medieval Silk Road as we map out the trade networks which moved precious spices like pepper, saffron and cloves from Asia all the way to Europe. Each course will come from a different city along the Silk Road, the 7,000 mile long trade route which spanned the globe from Indonesia to Italy. We’ll make stops in Quanzhu, Calcutta, Baghdad and finally Venice, diving into the history of each city and its role in the spice trade. Diners can expect dishes like Mongolian bear stew, walnut-stuffed river fish from Baghdad, jackfruit salad from India and a wild boar roulade from Venice, along with wine pairings for each course.
