"James May's Crosley" or "A Fine Car" painting by me. ♥︎
To start the new month of May (it's also my surname hehe) I've got something special for you. Another painting for my friend Zach, who's not only the owner of Jeremy Clarkson's Mitsuoka Le Seyde. With a little help from the Smallest Cog and me he was also able to purchase James's awful Crosley! ^◡^
Three prints of my painting are currently in production, this time measuring 60cm by 75cm. As last time, one's for my mate Zach, one he will give to James in person and the last one I keep for myself. *✦.
This painting took me three months to finish (I don't have much spare time to draw!), I wanted to come up with a funny idea to represent the Crosley as one of the worst vehicles to drive in a Grand Tour special - while still trying to draw a likeable portrait of James! ♡ So I decided to draw a scrap yard full of bad Grand Tour cars. Can you spot them all? Also the yellow number plate comes from the back-up car from Eurocrash, my friend found it at the backseat when he was cleaning the Crosley! So I had to draw it too. The other one was my idea...
