@motswolo I found my absolute favourite Marauders fic! And I’m learning about 70s rock music at the same time! 🤗✨

Marauders

First and foremost: 🌞 James Potter 🌞, Bambi himself. I love this guy. He was a lot of fun to put to paper. And a struggle. I did a whole sheet of hair sketches to try and get it right :) It had to be just on the right side of careless. I wanted him and Harry to really look a lot alike, but it also had to be clear that James was the 'original', if you get what I'm saying.

Those were the hair sketches :) Now, there are a few things that need to be said. James was a great friend, the Marauder Mummy, chivalry in human form. but he was also a bit of a dick. That's not a bad thing, truly! I mean, we all love a bit of a sarcastic prick when it comes to fictional characters. In his design, I tried to get a grip on the thin line between James' friendliness and his mischievous side. I mean, let's not forget this guy loved doing everything even slightly illegal (*cough* animagus *cough*). But he was just a good person, in the end. He did what was right, not necessarily what was easiest. And that's why I adore this guy. PS: Yes, Snape, James Potter did strut through the corridors at Hogwarts. LOoK aT HiM! He had every right to do so.

I couldn´t leave it at two Marauders, now, could I? Mr Prongs was pretty difficult, to be honest. I didn't want him to look too much like Harry.. Anyway, here's James Potter!
