regulus hates being touched. he smacks his friend’s hands away when they try to bother him. he tenses at hugs. james noticed this, of course he did. james noticed everything about regulus. so, when they started dating, james was shocked to find that regulus black was so insanely clingy. i mean, always holding hands, always cuddling, always touching.

james asked him about it one night when they were in bed. regulus simply answered, “i love you, more than i have loved anyone else.”

james never recovered from that revelation.
