i do think it's incredibly funny how grian, upon discovering that he put dried baby ghasts under the rug in his bedroom, was weirded out and horrified by himself, and then decided to send joel a semi-threatening message to try and out-freak him. however! this did not work, because joel, upon seeing it, was mainly concerned with whether or not grian stole HIS dried baby ghasts to put under a red rug in his bedroom where he walks all over, and when it wasn't, was very confused, claiming that it's entirely normal. to walk on dried babies.

fully burst into tears at the end of scott's episode by the way. the way he said "i guess you can teach an old vampire new tricks" . the wither rose. the way he did that privately where no one else could see it. the way he said "i wanted you of all people to never be a vampire and here you are". the way he died in scott's clothes. the way the way the way scott's vision blurred and eyes started ringing when he realized it was HIS fledgeling that took HIS love away from him. the conversation with shelby in the cave where he said he didnt think he'd ever been loved unconditionally like that. the way he said "don't worry i'll kill them for you". fuck.

apo saving martyn in the end being why he died. and not just why he died, why ren died. ren calling them all a bunch of demons and attacking them for killing martyn and apo watching as the man that kissed her in assurance that he was with her, the man that defended her from cleo, attack her fellow vampires because she is why martyn died. apo watching two of her close friends and militia members die because of her. legundo blaming himself. legundo's voice breaking as he wondered what he did wrong. the two military members with just a few more drops of blood on their hands. martyn and ren dying together, as it was always meant to be. fuck off dude
