Blue Velvet

I did choose the mask I hide under, How did I became that stranger I wonder It all started when I saw your jewels Drowned in deep blue velvet whirlpools

Out of the blue, oceans got bluer than blue, Each wave of your oceans ends up ashore, like the one message in a bottle for two, Yet there's less of your words for me in store,

The shadow appeared in the mirror today Observing, the stranger I became, like a prey Then it spoke with iridescent gaze

And I saw colors that don't exist just yet, Reserved for lovers who cracked into one, Fragmented like rolled out cassettes, Is it just me or is this love second to none?

Then I realized,

you can’t hate someone for loving themselves, just because you don’t, you’re insecure and i am not, not anymore. Go ahead, hate, but the love you want will never reciprocate Get on your knees, im doing the shadow's work

It dosent matter if im cold or blue now. In this night, Im droping my mask somehow I dare you to pour false blue rivers in me I will let your velvet go with godspeed

I’m here because I worked, because I tried I’m here because I love the shadow with pride I’m here because I choose not become someone, I’m here because That shadow is the black sun, And him and me . Now… we are one
