You know Big Jane terrifies me.
I guess it a bit of the way he's written, it's filmed, and how Tee is playing him but he actually scares me.
I've watched other shows where I know the character is supposed to be scary etc but it's more of a mental exercise where I'm being told they are scary so they are scary.
But with Big Jane there have been a few times now where I'm really, really godamn uncomfortable, and he scares the living daylights out of me. The way his face and personality change instantly.
Not to be overly dramatic, and I don't know where the story is going, but at the moment, this, at least to me, is a terrifyingly realistic example of coercive control and domestic violence.
