Across The Board is in studio these days recording our first album and rehearsing for our preview on May 14 during Humber Spring Fling-an extravaganza party of dining and live bands with midnight karaoke and DJs and door prizes and libations! We will be performing alongside Jessica Speziale and band, Brooklyn Doran and band, and Zach Sutton of Janes Party/Devin Cuddy Band. The process of creating an album for us has been over a year in the making when we look back at the original demo tracks of songs like ‘Jane On Fire’ and 'Sad Guitar’ which we started arranging nearly 18 months ago. The more recent additions to the album happened quite magically over Christmas break when the writing big hit like a sledgehammer. This preview of the collection of songs is exciting for us as it will mark the first time we have taken the full band and all of these songs out of the studio. We played an acoustic set of some of them for Friends For Harmony this year which was an amazing experience. But we have not yet had the opportunity to rock them out the way we envisioned them being rocked! So please come to Humber Spring Fling 2016 for this one out of many other reasons!
