Janet Halverson

Halverson designed book covers and books for various publishers for over three decades, beginning as early as the 1950s. Her work included the cover for Phyllis McGinley’s Pulitzer Prize winning book of poetry Times Three in 1961; the cover of Jack Kerouac’s 1962 novel Big Sur, as well as scores of books in the 1970s.
