hiya!!! your “i stopped being homophobic because of free” post is a wonderful read and i’m sorry you’re going through so much harassment. that’s fucking sad. i actually had a similar experience when i was 14, when i thought there were only two genders (not raging against nb identities i just didn’t know they were a thing) up till i read an snk fic that referred to one of the characters as “they/them” n through that, i discovered the whole gender spectrum!! anyway, hope you have a good day!

Ahh that’s really awesome! If you remember, was the character Hange Zoe btw? I remember first watching snk and people referring to Hange as they/them. I’ve since gotten into the habit of calling Hange she/her because of the English translation/subs, but I think the manga uses gender-neutral Japanese pronouns, which is really neat!
