Fortaleza Hwasong Este recinto fue construido por órdenes del Jeongjo en el 1796 y lo hizo con la finalidad de albergar los restos de su padre, el príncipe Sado. Originalmente, el mismo rey le ordenó suicidarse, y al no cumplir su demanda, fue condenado a morir encerrado en un cofre de arroz. Lo hizo con el único fin de exteriorizar su amor a su padre para poder crear una nueva ciudad (Suwon) con una política económica diferente. El pueblo de #Suwon, que es donde se encuentra esta fortaleza, tiene 4 entradas (1 por cada punto cardinal): puerta #Paldalmun, puerta #Janganmun, puerta #Hwaseomun y puerta #Changnyongmun. En el interior de la ciudad se encuentra el palacio Hwaseong Haenggung y se puede visitar para que se contemple el modo de vida de los emperadores, así como las cocinas, baños, recámaras y los enormes espacios al aire libre para su guardia. Hwaseong Fortress, Brilliant Castle

Hello readers, still reading…huh…either you’re bored or this might actually be interesting…hmmm. Get ready for pictures!
