I love that Torchwood acknowledges in Miracle Day that Jack Harkness has to deal with the burden of majority of his lovers being from a time period where they are downright ashamed of being with him.

He's also shown as a flirt who doesn't care who he flirts with, but I can't help but wonder if the fact he can't die-thus doesn't have to fully face the consequences-be a reason why he's so reckless about being openly queer in homophobic times.

I honestly wish they went into this more as even in 2000's Ianto is still hiding the fact they're together from people like Owen-someone he's friends with and has shown no disdain or disgust at Jack's queerness.

Torchwood Miracle Day Spoilers:

You're telling me I sat through 10+ hours of basically nothing just for the show to end on a FUCKING CLIFFHANGER?! I'm so mad! I see why people consider Children of Earth the end of the series now.

The only content worth watching was the 30 minutes of Jangleo clips in episode 8. I'm so cranky now.

on topic of ianto&angelo parallels. we see angelo and jack’s story after we see jack and ianto’s but it happened first!!!! which means that all during his relationship with ianto jack was aware of how it worked out with angelo, esp since the two and the two relationships are so similar. and how angelo betrayed him! how ianto betrayed him in broken! i cant help but think jacks quick forgiveness of ianto in broken is to do with his? regret over if not simply awareness of how he dealt with angelo. fucks me up! jack loved angelo and ianto both so strongly and in hindsight was quite obviously trying to save his relationship with ianto as going the same way his relationship with angelo did!!!!!!
