Let’s take a look at the all the candid photos Terry Richardson took for his and Gaga’s collaborative book “Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson”. This post only contains outfits that were only used in the book and haven’t been seen on Gaga at any other occasion.
For the cover art, the Italian-American beauty donned a black leather biker jacket with crystal-embellished lapels and “Gaga” patch on the back, custom-made for her by Perry Meek.
Gaga’s triple rivets delights so many of you were asking me about are F.D.R.(Frankling Delano Roosevelt) by Tart Optical Enterprises eyewear collection, from Jack’s Eyewear store in LA, produced by the legendary eyewear maker back in the 50′s.
The timeless design of this beautifully crafted frame with thick temples and rims will never go out of style.
She also wore a multi-strand silver crystal choker necklace by Janis Savitt.
Her Native American chief silver sterling ring is a vintage piece. Above I’ve pictured you the same ring but with ruby rubic zirconia eyes instead of green ones.
Terry photographed Lady Gaga on August 21st, 2010 after her show.
In those wild photos we can see her saying good night to her fans in “the true Monster” way before eating some pasta and dozing off. The life of a rockstar!
Gaga sported a vintage Poison “Nothing but a Good Time” distressed crew neck T-shirt.
On August 22nd, during her stay in Seattle, Gaga was photographed while getting ready for dinner and recording in the studio with Fernando Garibay.
Gaga kept it simple yet sexy in a black floral stretch lace bodysuit by American Apparel that she pimped up with crystal jewelry and fishnets. The bodysuit was made in several colors, blue, red, white and pink.
The Saint Laurent Tribtoo pumps completed the look. A dramatic platform and high-shine patent finish with tonal top stitching lift a simply silhouetted leather pump.
Worn in many occasions back in 2010. When out with friends. When chilling with fans. When going to sleep. Basically the equivalent to her post 2014 Iron Maiden tee which she loves oh-so-dearly.
This is a vintage Mötley Crüe “Too Fast For Love” merchandise shirt from their 1981 tour.
Gaga’s bandana has no label since you can read the “100% cotton Made in China” writing on hers pretty well. You can get this kind of paisley bandana everywhere, starting from Amazon or Ebay.
In bed, she’s also wearing the Factory One round specs by Anne & Valentin.
Gaga on the road! In these photos she wears a pair of vintage 80s YES USA high-waisted blue denim shorts…
…and Saint Laurent Tribute 90 black suede leather platform pumps.
While enjoying a little smoke break on her hotel balcony in San José, Gaga wears the cutest vintage leopard print lycra shorts and a Calvin Klein semi-sheer black balconette bra with lace trim.
In this post we’re going to take a closer look at some of the looks Lady Gaga wore during her short but deserved vacation in Crete and Santorini, Greece back in October 2010. Put some sunscreen on and let’s delve!
It’s already getting hot! On October 5th, Gaga and Lüc Carl were spotted toasting in Crete’s sun together.
She wore this vintage Jacques Cassia JC-56 Monte Carlo 1970s gold aluminum bra with chain detail and white cord straps sourced from New York Vintage!
The pair of oversized chunky black glossy acetate sunglasses with large white text on each side are vintage 90s Chanel 05249.
She accessorized the look with a silk scarf tied around her blonde locks and a vintage Streets Ahead gold Medusa studded belt.
While enjoying her well deserved days off in Crete, Gaga was spotted departing from her boat with her bodyguards on October 11 wearing a cute look fit for hot Summer days.
Gaga was wearing the Eric Mio swimsuit in large dot from “Swim Dot-Stripes” collection by Norma Kamali.
The dot pattern was used on several swimsuit styles and is still continued! Check here and here for similar alternatives.
Gaga completed the look with a large white hat, belt and platform Mary Jane Delight 687 pumps by Pleaser.
Love this glam retro pin-up look.
While cruising Santorini, Gagaloo rocked her favorite Balmain Fall/Winter 2009 black lambskin leather biker jacket with fitted waist, multi zippers and accentuated shoulder pads.
Previous Chanel sunglasses, a silk headscarf and Prada Donna laser-cut perforated black leather platform cut-out sandals completed the look.
The evening before (October 10) she had a romantic dinner with Lüc.
She wore a vintage Galanos ivory silk halter gown with daring high slit, sourced from New York Vintage.
Her multi strand crystal choker necklace is signed by Janis Savitt.
BACK IN TIME: LADY GAGA GIVES ‘BORN THIS WAY’ PRESS CONFERENCE IN MUGLER & XZOTIC INK
Lady Gaga posed next to a motorcycle at the St. Regis Hotel in Mexico City, Mexico during a ‘Born This Way’ press conference on May 6, 2011. The singer took a lot of time to answer many questions while celebrating her album.
Nicola Formichetti and Brandon Maxwell styled her for the occasion. Hair by Frederic Aspiras and makeup by Tara Savelo, respectively.
The superstar wore a cobalt-blue semi-sheer mid-length full-sleeved dress with shoulder pads and matching textured tights from Mugler’s Fall/Winter 2011 “Anatomy of Change” collection which she paired with striped square-shaped pasties.
Let’s get to the jewelry! Gaga’s necklace is actually part of her Janis Savitt layered choker and necklace set. She attached a crystal cross brooch on the side.
The pavéd silver Baby bow ring, she donned on her left hand, is by King Baby Studio. Unfortunately, it’s sold out.
The oval crystal-encrusted bangle is signed by Kenneth Jay Lane.
Custom black Lady Mary platform boots by Noritaka Tatehana completed the fabulous look.
The same day, she gave an interview for Brazilian channel Xuxa.
Same as her Born This Way jacket and the Born This Way dress, this vintage gold metallic leather beauty was airbrushed by NYC-based airbrush artist Natalie Lapelosa for Xzotic Ink.
The semi-sheer terracotta mesh catsuit with visible shoulder pads is a custom Perry Meek creation.
Her gold framed sunglasses with green lenses and tortoiseshell arms are vintage 56-9272 by Jean Paul Gaultier. Purchased at Vintage Frames Company.
Black leather platform Daffodile pumps by Christian Louboutin and the aforementioned King Baby Studio ring completed the look.
For her interview with CNN Mexico, Gaga slipped into a pair of interesting pants (which I have yet to ID) and this custom Mugler Fall/Winter 2011 “Anatomy of Change” patchwork bodysuit with long sleeves, enhanced with some shoulder pads.
The stunning silver crystal cross choker is an unsigned piece Nicola found for our girl.
The alien-inspired black ponyhair pumps from the aforementioned Mugler’s collection provided the finishing touches.
The epic long stiletto nails in red with black gems and gold-tone studs are courtesy of Aya Fukuda.
