one thing I never really liked about how the fandom portrays Janka is that it’s too similar to fanon chuuya x dazai. Because Jabber was super obsessed (he still is)with Zanka and held a slight grudge but now Zanka is Obsessed with proving himself to Jabber.
There’s so much missed potential in showing Jabber dislike of the obsession now that the dynamic is flipped. or becoming flattered (whatever this freak wants bc we hardly know shit about him)
or Jabber fully realizing that maybe there are more similar traits they share than just violence
