"Oh, I like you~" Haarlep purred, shifting back to their more masculine form. "And I assure you, pleasure is my speciality."

I contributed VP to part 1 of Enjoying Nature's Gifts: The Great Janu-beary Collaboration.
"Haarlep is hungry, and they have a certain druid in mind to sate their appetite. Surely this can only end well for our beloved Archdruid-"

Just today I thought of how on this day, one year ago, I did not even know how to take a screenshot on PC. No joke- I had no clue.
But here we are now. Not only did I learn how to take a screenshot~ I also contributed VP to my first ever collaboration like this. For two parts at that~ ✩°。⋆
Back when I applied for this, I was still so very insecure. I remember writing something like "I'm happy I even dared to apply, even if you don't want me" in there, and I meant it. I was so proud of myself for even thinking about applying- truly feels like a completely different time now. I'll make a sappy recap post on my main blog in a few days and yap about this a little more then. But for now~
My biggest thanks to the mod team, @bg3collabs, all the other collaborators, and @tavyliasin for organising this beautiful project and trusting me with making VP for her writing part!
Does the ban on noncon mean we can't bring up Halsin's past with the Drow, or Astarion's past with Cazador?
A tough question - whilst these are important parts of both characters and their history, it might be best to keep this to passing mentions rather than going into detail. It's absolutely a topic that can and should be explored as deeper parts of their characters and their differing paths to recovery from that, but the purpose of the collab is to be fun, positive, and kinky.
This might be something where we can work with contributors and their pitches, to find the right balance between incorporating this part of their backstory and steering away from going into Dead Dove territory.
Sorry this isn't a very clear black and white answer, it can be a more difficult topic for many because of how close to home it can be. I'm just not certain that there's a good way we can incorporate the darker part of their pasts into the fic series premise of "Halsin is overly horny and needs to bang it out of his system"
