Beast of Prey (on Wattpad) http://w.tt/1YHeaSd
What becomes of the hunter when the chase is over? Several months have passed since Jazz brought his knife-packing, body-maiming, and mind-screwing serial killer parents to justice in the Big Apple. Everyday since then, Jazz has secretly been struggling to keep himself together. Reliving the horrors of his childhood every day and night, and being forced through the legal system for his actions in New York, the stress on Jazz has been getting more and more paralyzing - so much so that he feels like he can’t breathe. It definitely doesn’t help that Connie, who has recovered from her injuries and PTSD from the events in New York, is heading back to the city of horrors and is leaving Jazz alone, which in turn, results in an embarrassing court order that demands Jazz receive mental health care before the trial proceeds.
Feeling lost, Jazz is desperately searching for his shreds of humanity, and tries to discover who he is after the hunt, and find a new goal for his life. The opportunity to do all that, he believes, comes when a Seattle-Born cop calls Jazz out for help with a brand new serial killer unlike anything the city, or the country of America for that matter, has ever faced before. Despite protests from Howie, G.William, his therapist and the courts, Jazz breaks all the rules and agrees to take on the case - thinking that it couldn’t possibly be worse than the man hunt involved with the catching of his father. Determined not to let Jazz become bait again, Howie accompanies Jazz to the Emerald City to be of emotional support.
However, the dynamics of their friendship have changed and in a city under attack, nothing is what it seems. Told in the powerful but raw prose that defined “I Hunt Killers”, Beast of Prey is a brand new, fresh-off-the-press extended fan fiction story that takes you into the AFTER of the finial Killers book. At times shocking, and at times romantic, Beast of Prey is the ultimate Killers fan fic and a must real for any IHK crow.
Howie: close your eyes, Jazz
Jazz: *curious, he shuts them tightly*
Howie: What do you see?
Jazz: *sighs* Nothing, blackness. Emptiness. Why?
Howie: Because that's what my life is like without you in it.
Jazz: *opens his eyes slowly, and lightly punches Howie on the arm, bushing* you're an idiot

Howie and Jazz have hugged before. However: The first hug ever that Jazz received from Howie was following a sport game. Basically, Jazz knew that Howie was a die hard sports fan and begged his father to help him buy tickets for a local match so that he could give the tickets to Howie for his 11th birthday. When he showed his friend his gift, Howie was overcome with joy and pulled Jazz into a quick, rapid, hug.
When they were in Junior High, Howie decided it would be a good idea to drag his best friend to a SUMMER FUN themed dance. Howie, being the nerd he is, shows up with a white t-shirt, his swim trunks, and sunglasses. Jazz just wore a black shirt, shorts, and flip flops. Then a slow song comes on, and since Howie didn't have a girl to dance with, he grabbed Jazz by the hand and forced his friend to dance with him. The whole time, Jazz was being stared at and it was uncomfortable, but it was also the first time that he'd ever held hands his best friend, and his future boyfriend.
Jazz went to visit Howie once and walked into his house without knocking and came into his best friend’s room only to find Howie twerking. I am amused.
